Pams - maternity pads I found were the best!!!
And I don't know if you can get maternity bras with underwires (if you can man have I missed out), I think its due to it restricting milk flow????? - Don't quote me on that one though as I am not overly sure.

Hmm, I didn't think they made maternity bras with underwire for that reason, can restrict milk flow.

Libra goodnights were fantastic for me.. nice and long and have wings. I also liked stayfree maternity pads when I was very sore (stitches) because they were so fat but they don't have wings.

For the day Kaleb was born and the day after I used the stayfree maternity pads with an open new born nappy behind it. This added extra padding and was wider beneath the pad.

I liked the stayfree pads also for their extra thickness!
Farmers have mat bras for $10 and they so worth their $ I have never seen underwire 1's sorry

I love the Farmers maty bras (More brand), get them for $10each and they are fantastic! Underwire restricts milk production so aren't done.
Breast pads seem to be if you are smallish, you will like the adhesive ones e.g. Pigeon; if you are largish you won't want them to adhere so that they will move where you need them from time to time.
Other pads, I use the hospital ones and grab the rest of the pack when I go, then go straight onto Libra supers. Even after episiotomy, although in the first few days I definitely preferred the thicker ones (hospital/Stayfree/etc)

oops just reread your post and you didn't say anything about breast pads LOL!

I have heard about Hot Milk lingerie this week and went to check it out. I am a not quite ready to start wearing them, but when I am, I can't wait. They are reasonably priced as far as nice bras go and look great. How they are made they give the impression they have underwires but don't.

Hey Sophie, I have bought the hotmilk bras and love it. No they dont have underwire but I found once I had a decent bump the boobs seem to self support somehow. I am quite large and snuck in with the 16E and LOVE IT!!!! I dont feel droopy in them either. I have just ordered my second one and was pleased tohear they are out of stock till next week following all the "negative" publicity. YAY!

Hey Nikki, thanks for your feedback. I have to admit the 'negative' publicity has been unbelievable! I would imagine it has done the complete reverse for this brand. It has got a lot of people talking about it. Surely there are worse things to complain about that what is being offered to pregnant and breastfeeding Mums - it sounds as if it's about time something like this has come about! Good on HotMilk I say!!

A bit late on the topic, but I found Bendon maternity bras the best - and they've even got a couple that look good (hallelujah!!).

I found maternity bra's with underwires. I was sick of having a monoboob!!! The underwires are plastic so it doesn't restrict the milk flow. The brand is Anita and I found them at Lingerie world. Not sure where you are, but I got mine in Silverdale. They are fantastic, even have a little tab that you can move from side to side to remind you which booby you are up to. Very handy with nappy brain!
