**fist off this is not an ad for myself**
Ok so some of you know i make jewellery in my own time and i have come up with an idea to make these nursing beaded bracelets, what do you think? would you buy one for yourself or a mother to be?
nursing braclets are helpful for:
what time baby was fed.
what breast they last fed from, by changing what hand braclet is on.
last nappy change and other general things our mummy mush brains forget while on the go.
what time baby went down for a nap
and also great for bottle feed baby for what time last bottle was.
and look much more elegant then those plastic bracelets.
They would be made in arrange of colours to suit....
there simple to use see pictures

I think they are a great idea. I don't know that I would use one, as I haven't had a problem remembering sides and I feed 3 hourly, but I know people who have had to use other systems to remember that aren't as pretty as these!

yeah i had mummy mush brain still do lol
there great for:
Track the number of bottles your baby takes in a day or when last bottle was.
Count your baby's wet diapers in a day or when last change was.
Remember when to pump for feedings.
Keep track of nap time and sleep schedules.
Count glasses of water you've had in a day.
Remember when to take/give medication.
Keep track of exercise laps you've walked/run.
Remember an appointment.
Remember when to feed the parking meter.
Which breast last fed was on and what time next fed is due.
Makes a unique gift for mum!

i got one of the plastic ones which was fine when i remembered to change it! i didnt want to spend the money on the bead ones as they are kinda expensive - if you can make them cheaper than the other places retail them for, then you would have a good market i think.

yeah i have to cover bead costs and if you want the flash glass beads you have to pay a price i will make a mock one at some time to give a better look at prices, i only use the best beads as they look nicers and wear longer.they are $0.20c-$0.50c per bead but i normally make my jewellery as cheap as possible as i know what been a mum and having no money is like.

i think its great too. when i had jade my first- although i wasnt breast feeding, i was expressing and i used to wear a hairtye around my wrist- did it for when i breastfed emma too... a braclet would of been much nicer and wouldnt of been so tight on my chubby wrists lol.

i saw them when i was pg and thought they were a great idea but then never had a problem remembering which side or times etc...i always made sure there was a clock (cell, teletext etc) around somewhere - so have to say there is probably a niche mmrket but a small one.
even with my mega mummy brain at the time I wouldnt have needed one of those....they would however make ideal baby shower gifts etc? maybe you could combine them with something else as an enticing package purchase?
