Someone I worked with then knew that we were TTC, and saw the OB competition I think it was advertised a couple of years ago, and she told me about it so I could try and win some gorgeous baby things!
Since I'm nosey, I found my way to the forum, and made a little nest

It was just after I found out I was pregnant and I think I was googling up a storm for some quick pregnancy education and found this place. Lurked for a while until I was brave enough to post!

When I was over on NZWP we had a number who were pregnant at the same time (Kirst, Jess and Wendy), I had heard about it from them but it wasn't until Stacey said that it wasn't just for pregnant woman and people with babies that I finally joined (was TTC at that stage) and then 2 weeks later I was pregnant.

I found this site thru mumtoparisayja on NZWP, back when she was a 2008 bride to be, you will probably see a few of us in the next 12 months, as there are a lot of 2008 brides waiting for the wedding to TTC.

Google search engine for me. I can't remember what I was looking up but it would've had something to do with TTC or pregnancy and I'm so glad I found it.

Ah, so Fiona's responsible for the LifeFM contingent (count me in too!)
I was lured by the competition when I was pregnant with Briona, saw the forums, then ran out of time and the computer died! About 6 months later I was really looking for support (since I had only 1 RL friend with preschoolers!) and found it on here!

Oh boy, I think I have been around longer than everyone else who has replied so far ! Way back in the dim and distant dark ages (2003) I got a leaflet about OHbaby! in my Bounty pack after I had Maya. I had a surf around and found some good info but the message boards didn't exist then. They were launched in Sept '03 and I joined up and four years, two pregnancies, one labour, two births and two babies later here I am!
There are a few originals still around tho, Alyayde and Lou were here back then.

I joint a little bit later really. Googling for baby names the night before i had paris (so, 4th Aug 2003), found this site, joint and then of course had paris and didn't get back to regular computer useage till she was about 7 months when i was clearing out my favourites list one night in an effort to make darn old computer a little tidier, and viola, found it again, and here i am, nearly 4 yrs since joining, about 3 and a half since being active member, was so nice to have the support the second time around with pregnancy with Ayja.. and to find a few friends along the way with bubs the same age.

I heard about OB on NZWP. Everyone was talking about seeing the photos of these new babies on OhBaby and reading the details on OhBaby and I didn't like to be kept in the dark so had to come along and find out what it was all about.
