I never had a miscarriage but my family treated me....well still treat me like I am made of glass....it was frustrating at first, but now I am use to it...as I know they only mean well.
As far as the tickers are concerned...click on any ones and it will take you to the site....choose your own and then it will give you 3 different codes. Copy the one that starts wth URL-HTTP.....then post the code in your Ohbaby profile under signature....done!

I put the cot together at 36 weeks. Willie would have gone postal if he'd known (he wasn't very involved but he was paranoid about me doing anything that might hurt the baby. Strange guy...).
It got delivered while he was at work, and I knew he'd leave it till the last minute (ie. after baby was born!), so I got stuck into it. What a mission too, it was the middle of summer and I was so hot and grumpy...
When I moved out when Maya was 3 mths old a friend pointed out that I has put the base in upside down. Despite it being clearly marked "this side up"...

I've just been told I have a small baby and need to put my feet up a bit more, get some rest and try not to be superwoman - yeah right - this with a 2 3/4 year old, a full time job, 2 hours of comuting and a household to look after...easy to saY!

Oh to be able to just keep my feet up!! A friend at work has another friend who is 9 weeks pregnant as well, and suffering morning sickness as bad as I am (oh yeah, it's BACK!!!) - difference being she has a super wealthy husband who encouraged her to give up work when they started trying for a baby, who now stays at home and sleeps the day away rising only from her slumber to eat, shop and take relaxing baths. OMG!!!!!! Imagine that.... I am in drool city right now!!!

lol i tried that with paris when i was preggers... we'd walked from the bus stop after me studying all day and i'd fill her pool, i was lucky to get my feet in.. she was (and still is) very bossy. lol
as for relaxing with a 1 yr old. lolollololol. everything changes when you add "with a 1 yr old" after it... "relaxing" brings images of lying in the sun, scoffing strawberries and drinking ice cold whatevers... add the words "with a 1 yr old" after it.. and well, you get a very different result! lol

me too. i've prtactially been pregnant for two years now!

yep me too have not had a drink since months before i got preg with PAris... so about 3 yrs now!. have always been preggers or feeding. and the little time in between i just didn't feel like it... think i was worried i'd have 1 drink and be drunk.... lol, i don't cope with alcohol too well. i do however feel like one now.. lol... maybe xmas.. my poor sister, last year i said to her, "well, i can drink at xmas this year" cos the xmas before i'd been feeding Paris and the one before that i was preg with paris. so what happens, i get preg, and can't drink and all the yummy stuff she ordered through her chriscos gets shoved away in her cupboard... oh the poor lady,, having it all to herself. lol
Actually come to think of it.. i remember one other time i told her i would have a drink with her at xmas.. and ended up getting preg with PAris..
maybe i won't tell her that again... who knows what might happen.

I had such a good pregnancy (apart from the bleeding) that I dont mind doing it again! We decided that once this baby turns 1 or 1 and half then we will start trying again. I want the 2nd to be born before or when I am 30.

lol, i think everyone finds the right time for them.. for the most part. I wanted to wait till i waS 25, simpley cos that would have given me time to finish nursing and work for a few years, but it didn'thappen that way. secretly though, in my heart i always thought that it would be nice to have them around 21 - 23... and lol that's what happened.

I alway thought I would have finished having kids by now (29), yet I don't feel old to be having kids at all. Most of my freinds are at the same stage or haven't started yet.

I must sound like just a baby! I got pregnant while on the pill at 16 finished school with 6 form certificate had my little girl at 17, worked part time as a sales and marketing manager for a computer company then gave up working to focus on being a mum now I'm 19 and expecting our second and final baby. Then when he or she is 18months we are getting married. Then my next plans include waiting until the second one is at kindy then start training to be a midwife. And I'll still be young enough to have a promising working life.

wow that does sound so young. But I guess there are some benefits to doing it young - you can do your training after and don't have to worry about taking a break. I'd not long finished my teacher training when I stoped to have Sophie. When I do go back I'm pretty sure I'll have to do some retraining. Though I don't think I would want to have kids that young. I was still finding out who I was and working life out. It was enough to look after myself without having to look after a baby.
