are you able to get from pharmacy over counter or do you have to go to docs first??

I think you have to go to the doctors first, but the last time I needed it was a while ago! Ummm... if I remember rightly, I had to go to the surgery, but saw the nurse not the doctor. ------------- Becca, mum of 2 girls & 3 boys |

yep, over the counter at the pharmacy for about $35-40. you have 72hrs to take it but it's most effective within the first 12hrs. at the chemist they will take you into a room and ask you a few questions about your period and when the 'action' took place.

funny that, my mum got pregs with me on the pill, my friend got pregs on the injection.
so i guess the only way to stop the babies is for him to get the snip & even thats no 100% gurantee lol
i dont think my body could handle another baby could barely move toward the end of my pregnancy with james.

My friend has a ECP baby and she took it within hours of "doing the deed" All the ECP does is change the environment so that the spermies can't get up and the eggie can't implant.
In saying that, I've taken the ECP a couple of days after and had no problems I had a MEGA freak out in November last year!
