But as I have a UTI, it's one of the things that will help me feel better  On the one hand, I could dilute it with water or lemonade but on the other hand that just means the bottle will take longer to get through!

UTI's are so frustrating huh? I have had so many since first getting pregnant I've actually started enjoying cranberry juice!

I thought about getting tablets, but I don't get UTIs very often (this is only my second one, the first was 20-odd months ago) and I figured a bottle of cranberry juice was probably more cost-effective! not much help to you at the moment becca, but you could try it with vodka????? my friend and i always drink vodka and cranberry juice for our urinary tract health. makes us feel very virtuous when we do  ------------- Lyla - mum to Xanthe -  my big 4 year old

I don't like it all that much either. I got a heap of "magic" pills when I got them quite often after I had Andrew, I love them they are my friend whenever I et one. Haven't had one for a long time one so my magic pills may not work now. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

I had a UTI last month and got sick of cranberry juice pretty quickly too, so bought some cranberry tablets from the health shop. I don't get UTIs very often either but I hate them so much, I figure its worth it just in case, especially while TTC!!!

if you don't like cranberry you could drin URAL If you don't have any of them I send you some - I have heaps - dr gives them to me and I don't use them! WAter and heaps of it will help alot as well. Try soda water with cranberry juice and take vit c. When got loads with pregnancy with brooke and this is what the specilaist told me to have. ------------- Ann

I have had a couple of UTI's and have never been told to try CJ.... I have always had over 2 litres of water a day and it has always helped to sort it out. |

I take cranberry tablets and prophylactic antibiotics to prevent UTI's coz I have a bladder/kidney condition that means I get up to 15 infections a year if I don't (yes, Sienna can blame me for her dodgy kidney ). I don't actually mind the taste of cranberry juice but the tablets are more potent, and Citravescent/Ural is my friend. ------------- Maya Grace (28/02/03)
