For all the mother with bubbas that like to tummy sleep Im just wondering at what age did you let them.

Alize is constantly turning on his tummy to go to sleep, in his sleep etc. I always turn him over to his back again as Im a bit scared he is still too young to sleep like this.

His face always looks so squashed to me as he sleeps on his knees with his bum in the air so he is angled down if you get what I mean..

Advice needed please

kels Rhyley sleeps like that too - I go in when i go to bed and roll him over but he always ends up that way. As alize can crawl i am sure he would be able to move himself it there was a prob.

I was wondering the same but i am pretty sure my daughter did the same - earlier - and so should be ok.

Abouth that age Jack started. It was when he started crawling so I stopped wrapping him and let him sleep how he liked.

If he can roll from front to back he should be fine.

I let Kryssi tummy sleep from about 3 weeks but I didn't feel properly comfortable with it until I saw her turn her head from side to side. I reckon if they have that head control, then it's fine.

Char has been tummy sleeping form about 2 or 3 weeks as well, and I also felt better about it when I saw how well she moved her head from side to side and has had for a while now, excellent head and neck control and pushes up on her arms really well. It also makes me feel a bit better when she is phlegmy like she is atm, I know she won't beathe it back and choke onit in her sleep...

Thanks guys now I feel so much better and will stop from getting up all hours of the night to roll him back, the poor boy. He has an angel care monitor on his cot anyway but was always worried about the position. Last night I found him squashed head first up in the corner of the cot he was even in a slwwping bag so I have no idea how he managed to crawl up there and get into that position.. The mind boggles at how they get into these position and manage to sleep!

7.5 months, when she started crawing and waking herself up from rolling from back to tummy. I actually used a safety sleep to keep her on her tummy, as she slept much better that way.
