My hubbys work is sending him up north in a few weeks and i noticed on his itinery they have spelt his name wrong and Im pretty sure that means they will have booked his flights with the same spelling. Will this matter when its only a domestic flight? Will they maybe not let him board (she says hopefully) or will they not even notice.

How wrong have they spelt it? It *shouldn't* be an issue but might pay to give the airline a call anyway. On domestic tickets we always corrected spelling free of charge.

I'd say it shouldn't matter, but like Paws says, give them a call to make sure. We flew from the Gold Coast to Sydney last night and I checked mum in while she was busy taking the rental car back and they didn't even need to see her ID, they were so much laxer than the international check in.
