I have 15 tweedle nappies and very eager to use them and even though my boy is a huge tubby bubby! ( He is now 12lb! at 5 weeks old) they still dont fit him!!??? he fits the baby harmony ones and fuzzys but not the tweedles and im not sure if they will be a good fit so was wanting to hear from others who have/are using tweedles...how do they fit your bubs? etc....
TIA

I had to cross the snaps over for the first few weeks to fit Josh when I first got them. Are they not fitting him in the waist or thighs? I would ask on of the agents (Anna I think is your closest) and see what you can do.

they are tight as around the legs but still leaking (i think it may be cos they are roll over edges?? as the fuzzys dont leak at all) and i cant figure out how to cross over the tweedle nappies with the way the snaps are possitioned (i cross over his baby harmony ones and the fuzzy ( i trialed one of kellz fuzzys)...

Yeah I have to make sure that the roll over edge is tucked in. It is an art but once you work it out its fine. I haven't had any leaks since working it out.

I never thought you could cross tweedles. Let me know how you do it Becks. My tweedle leck heaps and I realised they gape at the crotch, and Ive found the more inserts you use the more they gape. I may have to find a tweedle agent in the lower hutt area to help me out with them.

I agree, there is definitley a nack to getting the rolled legs not to leak. We had a few at the beginning but have now mastered the art of making sure the fleece is all tucked in when we put them on.
As for the fit. Sam is 12lb 9oz and fits the small nicely. She is also pretty short though which probably helps. We are on the smallest snaps for some and the next on the legs for others depending on the PUL fabric. I have found they don't have to be overly tight on Sam and they still don't leak. We use the hemp/microfibre insert that folds in 3, so 6 layers of absorbancy.

Kels, you should contact Rachael, she gave me great advice last week re leaks for Fay. I just happened to be passing and two printed nappies fell out of her house into the car, so I had to go in and pay for them didn'tI?

I'd email Rachael, Daniel is a skinny baby and she put cross over snaps on all of mine so they would fit him in the tummy better and she can stitch down the elastic if you think that is also a problem for you.

LOL Claire!
I had a few leaks until I figured out how many inserts I could fit in the nappy. Also found if I pulled the back of the nappy up then it sorted out the slight gaping I had at the leg. Kaleb is 7.5kg and still fits the smalls (just) and also the mediums. I prefer the mediums as they come up higher (is that the rise?)
Also agree with Sterryn - my plain PUL nappies fit on smaller setting than the printed ones.

Rachael added cross over snaps to all of my small nappies for me for no extra charge. She would probably do the same for you!

I posted them down to her cause I got mine way before Daniel was born hehe and with cross overs he fits them great. They are the only nappy I've had which hasn't leaked once. Hopefully he will fatten up and fit them without cross overs soon
