I knew it, I knew she wasn't right. i couldn't sleep last night as she was breathing quite fast so I got up at 5-45am this morning and rang healthline and they said to take her to after hours just to get her checked.
The doctor was concerned about her breathing and chest so he ordered an xray and she has Pneumonia, we are at home at the moment, she is on high strength antibiotics and has to go back at three to be reviewed were they will decide whether to admit her to hospital or not. Thanks for all your well wishes.
Well we went to the docs at 11-30am yesterday and she was admitted to hospital with breathing difficulties. They put her on I.V antibiotics and we were allowed home an hour ago. She is still coughing up her lungs which apparently can continue for up to six weeks and wheezing, but she is a whole heap happier than she has been all week. I'm doing ok thanks, very tired I can't remember the last time I got more than three hours sleep at night but compared to what our poor wee mite has been through that's nothing. She was so good being stuck with needles and poked and prodded all day. She was really good when they did the chest xray,not a peep.
