Hi Girls.

I finally found you all
Glad to hear everyone is all well. Jess you dont have long to go till you test. I bet you can't wait. When are you going to test?

Kiwimum - I hear you have a little bump too. How exciting. You mustn't have long to go till you go for your scan? I am feeling 100% better, but still have the odd day where I am sick. Can't wait for the 20 week scan

Well off to have a look around the site. Great website to and it is nice to have it in our own time Mel.

Hi all
Yeah, Carissa you found us. Now we just need to entice kirsty and sarah over here and I think that is everyone??? Yes I am loving this site, especially because it is a nz site, can't believe I didn't discover it earlier. Well I am now trying to figure out how to add photos, will get the hang of it soon I am sure, each website is slightly different.
Kiwimum, the holidays are not going too bad, a few behavioural issues to deal with but nothing that some time out hasn't sorted out. We are off to visit a friend from kindy today and then maybe to nana and grandads, tomorrow we are off to visit another kindy friend, and that is one whole week over, only one to go. So I guess the old holidays aren't too bad afterall.
Right best be off now, lots to do before we go. Have a good one all

Mmmmm, not sure what's going wrong kiwimum, that is exactly what I did, copied the code in the img line and then pasted in into my post and it worked, so not sure why yours didn't. Its kind of ironic that you were the one who originally taught me how to do it, and now I am trying to teach you. Go figure.
Right better go watch shorty street.

Morning all,
I love this site Haven't had time to have a really good look around, but I can tell there will be lots of good stuff. I like the way it is so similar to ff too. Feels just like home
Kiwimum, hows the first week of the hols gone for you. I am proud of myself making it to the end of the first week without too much stress. We had a good day yesterday visiting c's friend. And when I get organised we will be off again today. Don't seem to spend alot of time at home which is a good thing in this horrible little house. Our new place should only be about 5-6weeks away now. I can't wait. Try your photos again today, I can't wait to see that belly.
Jess, have you given in and tested yet. I remember that temptation so well. But I also remember that incredible disappointment when there is no line. Ironically for me now I would have that disappointment if there was a line - how life changes eh?? Can't quite imagine being pregnant again just yet
Sarah, where o where are you??? Please find us.
Carissa, glad to hear you are nearly over the m/s. Now you can enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.
Right I'm off, time to move my butt and get organised. Have a great friday all. I love posting in real time.

Kiwimum - When I put the pics in my signature I had to add IMG with square closed brackets at the start and then add /IMG with square closed brackets at the end. Try it and see if it works

Jess - good luck over the weekend. I will be popping in to keep on your progress. So glad to hear Cory's SA was all normal.

Mel - I love your photo. So committed!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Well I guess it was time I came over here seeing the Babycenter board was completely abandoned

Was getting my hopes up this month but AF arrived today (explains the psycho mood swings) after a lovely four days of spotting.
NEVER used to have spotting, AF used to just arrive full force.

I always seem to get AF around the time a friend or relative announces either they are pregnant, or the baby actually arrives. This time it was dh's boss - baby boy #2 arrived on Friday after a 1 hour labour.
Really helps with the PMS!!

As you can tell I'm in a great mood!!
Off to try and figure out my siggy on here...

Hi all
Sarah, so pleased you made it over. Yep we all abandoned babycenter once jess found this great site. Its alot like ff and we have our emoticons back. Sorry af arrived for you, keep your chin up and break into this next month with a bang, I'm sure it will happen for you soon.
So where is everyone, we seem to be a lot slower on this site. I am not getting notified when there are new posts, is anyone else. If you are please let me know how you did it. I have set my profile to being notified and also clicked on the thing at the bottom saying 'watch this thread for replies' but still nothing. Any ideas???
Well we just had a quiet day at home today, got lots of little catch up jobs done. Its nearly time to start packing again. So not looking forward to that.
And then of course theres the big clean up. Can't wait for that one as well. Has anyone used the 'rug doctor' from new world for cleaning carpets? I was thinking that might be a cheaper option than getting someone in. Anyway better go and put ds to bed, don't you just love daylight savings!!!!

I have decided i wont test until i am supposed to im even thinking about not testing until next weekend when af will truely be late but time will tell haha i bet it will get the better of me. I dont have any symptoms apart from some twinges and cramps in my abdomen and that it feels slightly strange but i really dont want to get my hopes up you know?

Hey girls just need your opinion i have no idea what my temps are doing i took it this morning and it was 36.46 what do you think is happening? its been consistantly low over the past few days if i randomly temp in the daytime and im talking like 36.32 etc, does my thermometer need a new battery or is it just me?? I am starting to wonder if i did even ovulate This is frustrating me...

Hi Ladies.

Jess - Not sure what is happening with your chart. Might pay to check the battery in case

Sarah - Sorry the old bag got you. Like Mel said keep your chin up your time will come I know it is not what you want to hear but know we are all thinking of you and sending you lots and lots of babydust!

Mel - I have used the rug doctor and it is amazing what comes out of your carpets It is very easy to use as well and half the cost of getting someone else to do it for you. Good luck with the move!

Kiwimum - How are you going? I see the belly pic is not working. I wonder why?

Hi all
Jess, can't really be much help there, I always temped in faranheit so not sure of the conversion. My pre-o temps were around 97.1 and post o usually 98 or thereabouts. If you know how to convert that might help. Fingers crossed for you, and good on you for waiting, at least if af shows her very ugly head you won't have wasted a hpt.
Kiwimum, still can't figure out why your photos aren't working, have you tried all the codes just in case another one works? Of maybe is there something in your profile stopping them showing up????
Jess, do you have a digital camera, I'm just starting to panic that we won't get to see photos of the wedding and with all this waiting and anticipation, I won't be able to stand it if we can't see the pics!!! If you haven't got one, I suggest getting out there and buying one for your 'oh baby' friends! LOL Besides you'll need on when you have a baby anyway. Have you all had a look at Sarahs website, it is amazing, she has inspired me to sort out my photos, that is my aim over the next few months. Right gotta go feed, have a good day all

Kiwimum, I have also heard of imageshack, but haven't been onto it myself. You could always try that, but I really don't understand why it is working fine for me and won't go for you.
Anyway best of luck the suspense is killing me, I want to see this photo. Ok we have survived through 1 more day of the school holidays only 4 to go. Sounds terrible I know but ds is being particularly trying at the moment. Better go and change K, he has a habbit of exploding out the side of his nappy at the moment, and I just heard the telltale sounds. Sorry tmi. Catch ya all later.

Mel - dh takes care of all the website stuff, seeing that he is an IT specialist lol!
We just used FuzzyMonkey.org, before that he had to write all the code himself and make all the thumbnails, but now its all uploaded for you and all I had to do was write the headers, captions and descriptions.
Easy!

Well I'm slightly less psychotic today, however I'm turning 28 tomorrow and that thought is less than pleasing.
I need chocolate.
Actually I need to get on my treadmill so I'm off to do that now!!

Jess I cant see your chart, what was your temp today??  Do you think you should test just to see??  If you didnt O they will usually make you wait it out so you can start clomid on either day 3 or day 5 depending on what your specialist prefers.  Good luck chickee

Happy birthday Sarah!!!!I turned 28 in June and I felt really OLD lol.  My DH is 36 though so I feel young compared to him.  Hope you have a great day and are spoiled rotten.  Love the pic of Tara by the way.  How are things going for her at school??

Morning Mel!  Hope C behaves himself for the rest of the hols, I know Z gets pretty bored and misses kindy heaps.  He is really excited about starting school, pity for him he still has 6 months to go!!By the time xmas has been and gone though it will come around so quick.

Well we are off for the day to see my mum and my uncle is over from australia for the week so it will be good to catch up.  Have a good one all!!

Hey Jess just a thought, does the progesterone cream make a difference to your cycle and/or your temps??  Might be worth finding out about, I havent used it so not sure how it works but it might make your cycle a bit different at the end??

Hi all
Nope not hiding kiwimum, just trying to tidy my pigsty of a house. C has a friend coming to play today and stay the night. So I thought at least if I started with the house tidy it may not end up quite so bad. By the way - love the web page.
Jess so pleased your script and af arrived. Now on to the big clomid cycle, how many mg's have they put you on? I hope your side effects are not too bad.
Fran, so pleased you made it over, looks like most of the ff people have either found new sites that are free or given up all together. I wasn't really too keen to pay the price, specially since we are no longer trying to conveive. And they are still letting you access that bit anyway right? Hope you are feeling good and pregnancy is treating you well.
Ok I'm off to brace myself for a very busy day. Two active four year olds - I should lose at least two kilos today. Luckily the weather has come through for me and we can get outdoors. This house just won't cope with two boys running round inside all day. I stopped at the video shop and got a 'clifford' dvd and an x box game in case the weather packs it in.

Hi again
Here is some photos of our house. This one is of the front but the house is quite long so can't get it all in one photo.

And this is of the decking area, it will eventually be somewhere to sit outside our living room.

I so can't wait to move in and decorate my kids bedrooms.

Mel, the house looks great!!I bet you are really excited!  I am going to move Z to our bigger spare bedroom around xmas time and I am looking forward to doing it up for him, he has a bob the builder bedroom at the moment which he is way past.  I have seen some cool batman curtains at arbuckles and warehouse had the matching duvet cover.  Have fun with the 4 yr olds!! Z also has a friend over, they are making a hell of a racket at the moment.  He has recently gone to school and Z misses him heps so it is good they can catch up in the holidays.

Jess, good luck with the clomid!!!

Hi Sarah and Fran!!!

Carissa where are you?  Has all your MS gone?  Forgot to tell you got a great bargain at JK, 2 maternity tshirts for $40, they are a nice style too and had a few colours to choose from.

Ok i have a question for you wise woman, should i be worried that my "period" was basically 1 day and extremely light for me? Everytime i wipe i get creamy brown ick (TMI) sorry
I have never ever had this before and im confused, i cant go by my temps coz i took clomid last night and apparently that makes ur temps higher?!

Please help me

Hi all
Jess, a friend of mine took clomid and the same thing happened, it instantly stopped her af. Not sure why, maybe kiwimum can input here. Did this happen to you Char??
Hopefully it is a good sign, getting that egg or eggies ready to release. Good luck.
Well we survived the night, just, finally got the boys to sleep around nine. and then C's friend woke at 4:50am My three month old baby sleeps longer than that!!!! He then tried to wake C so I had to get growly. It worked though and he went back to sleep about 5:50 until 7:00am. Still we are all a little jaded today. And it is showing in the behaviour this morning already. I think we will get dressed and head off to the park nice and early. They seem to be good in open spaces.
And yes I am so excited about moving into the new house. If you could only see what we are renting at the moment you would understand why. It is soooooo small and we are constantly tripping over each other and over toys. Ok I'm off to deal with these boys.

Hey Jess

First of all I wouldnt temp while you are taking the pills because it will muck up your temps and they are quite often higher.  I found too with FF that higher temps around AF would make it harder for them to detect O on my chart.  Have you taken a HPT?  You should be fine with the clomid, some people even take it starting day 1 so I wouldnt worry about that.  Did your Dr tell you you will usually O approx 5-7 days after the last pill?  Hang in there you will be fine, maybe you were just luck with a short AF this time!  Let me know if you think of anything else ok!!

Carissa I did one of those tickers too, arent they cool!!

Mel how did you handle the 4 yr old sleepover, are you drinking yet??

Well I am off to town this morning, Z is off to his friends house for a play and I have some jobs to get done.  I am heading to Farmers to have a look at prams.  We got a pedigree 3 wheel buggy which was GREAT when Z was small and even now through the farm, but 5 years of hard work and it is getting a bit worse for wear!  It will still be fine for walks through the farm but I'd like something smaller for town.  I LOVE shopping!!!

Have a great day everyone!!

Yeh i think the only thing i can do is take a HPT to put my mind at rest and just continue on my cycle of clomid I am just finding it wierd coz i normally bleed heavily and it hurts like a mother lol damn endo does it, but this was barely anything if anything i can wear a panty liner it was that light

Hey everyone...

Last day of school holidays yay!! Feel I've been a boring mum but the weather has been atrocious and we have been to visit a few friends and had some visitors at least.
Nothing exciting going on here, well except I had a major spring clean and my house is looking gorgeous, its soo much easier to keep it tidier than letting it all go to pieces and having to do a major mission every couple of weeks.
Oh and I have been having some bad wisdom teeth pain but I can't get in to see my oral surgeon until November 17th which sucks!!

Hope everyone is doing well...good luck with the clomid this month Jess.

Ugh my side effect seems to be nausea haha oh well at least ill be used to it once im pregnant

Morning all
The weather here is disgusting I just had to go outside to get some wood for the fire and got absolutely soaking wet!!! I can't believe we have our fire roaring in October. When is winter going to end????
Jess, hope the nausea subsides at the end of the pills, and you have no other side effects. Oh except some more nausea over the first few months of your pregnancy of course.
Kiwimum, funny you should say 'are you drinking yet?'. I was incredibly tempted believe me. Last weekend I actually did have a bourbon and coke and it was sooooo good. I waited until K had gone to bed for the night and man did I enjoy it. You forget how nice it is to have the odd drink. I'm certainly not one to go all out these days, its just not worth the hangover in the morning when you have a four year old.
Sarah, I know what you mean about feeling like being a boring mum over the holidays, I have felt a bit the same. We had all these big plans but most of them didn't eventuate because of the weather. We did do lots of visiting to friends places though, and hey we survived that is the main thing right????
Oh yeah snap on the pedigree pram kiwimum, that is exactly what we had with C, but when I got pregnant with K I bought a mountain buggy and it is soooooo much lighter. I used to get so sick of folding and unfolding my pedigree. I sold it on trade me and got $250 for it. I also got the carrycot to go on my mountain buggy for $100 on trade me second hand and it has been fabulous because you just lift it off when they are asleep and use it as a bassinette. K still sleeps in it when we go to peoples places although he is getting pretty close to being too big. Saves taking a porticot with you. Good luck with the shopping.
Right we are off to the toy library to return some toys and get some more. C stayed at his nana and grandads last night so it means I get to go and chose some toys on my own. I can avoid those really noisy annoying toys. Have a good weekend everyone.

Morning all
The weather has improved here and the sun is now shining. I am aiming to go out and clean my windows today, not something I am looking forward to but necessary. We will probably be moving in about 5 weeks and I don't want to leave all the jobs to the last minute. I also need to tidy the garden, and I am really not looking forward to that, I am definitely not a gardener.
Kiwimum, how did the pram shopping go? Its so much fun buying for a baby. I miss that already, now we are at that 'only one income' stage and I am not supposed to be buying anything. Although I have ordered $217 worth of ezibuy which dh doesn't know about.
Jess, how you feeling today?? Hope the clomid is doing its thing.

Hi Ladies

Jess - I hope the side effects of the clomid dont last for too much longer, although you will be use to the nausea by the time your BFP arrives

Kiwimum - How has your shopping been? I have brought our first item, a cot. I need to get a mattress now, but it is all becoming real now with baby stuff around. Quite exciting. We are going to get a pram with a toddler seat for baby number 2. No point in getting one that doesnt fit one as we will be having more
Mel - When do you move into your new house?
Fran - I can imagine your house is alot quieter now the kids are back at school. How are you going with your pregnancy?
