bread! I can't even remember how a piece of bread got left on the highchair top but she figured out how to pick it up and stuff it into her mouth and completely ignore the spoon of baby food! She's quite particular about her food, this is after refusing the breast in favour of food in the first place!
(And "refusing" is the correct word here because she *always* has a feed before night sleep, and tonight she didn't want it so I put her to bed under protest - 10 minutes later she was still crying so I offered again and that's when I figured she wanted some 'real' food!)
