Why are so many children's books about getting lost and then found? This is another tale of a soft, furry critter getting lost in the snow, but it has a happy ending. Ollie the puppy has never seen snow before, and he and his brother and sister rush outside to play, but then another dog bounds up (ostensibly to play with them) and scares them off. Ollie runs away but promptly gets lost in the snowfall. An owl tries to give him some sage advice, and some fox cubs tell him to "clear off", but Ollie is eventually found by his mother and siblings. It's light on plot, but the illustrations are absolutely gorgeous and worth buying the book for.
