Starring Dolly and Teddy, this tale of two toys who accidentally get left behind by Santa is sweet and unassuming. Dolly and Teddy are all tucked up in Santa's sleigh, on their way to their new homes, when Teddy's scarf blows away in the wind. As the two chase after it, Santa takes off without them, leaving them to find their own way to their new homes. A simple plot with charming illustrations and the requisite happy ending. it would be good Christmas reading for a little girl all snuggled up in bed waiting for visions of sugarplums.
