My progesterone levels are fine tho, or at least they were last time I had them checked.

Low progesterone is the most common cause of a short LP tho, whether or not that is a problem with TTC seems to be a bit disputed. My specialist said he didn't think LP defect was an issue when TTC and that research is really divided on whether it is or not, but I know it's common practise for women with LP defect to be prescribed progesterone supplements to help lengthen the LP.

Not sure if having just had a baby would affect your progesterone levels, but breastfeeding definitely does. Prolactin (one of the hormones involved in milk production) is what has a contraceptive effect when you are breastfeeding, and it can mean lower progesterone levels.

This site might help you a bit.

http://www.ovulation-calculator.com/preconception/progesterone.htm

My cycles are regular but my O has been fairly late, with AF only about a week after. Jess suggested it could be low progesterone. Anyone know any more? Would that also be the cause of light/short AFs? Do people usually get low progesterone after having a baby? Cheerz
