well the sun came out in Wellington today and it was a beautiful spring day

Then I realised that I don't have any sun block and have NO idea which one to buy after all the fuss last year. (When quite a few of them were found to be less than promised).

What I was wondering is has anyone been recommended a particular brand especially for under 1s?

I'd recommend going into your local pharmacy and asking them.

I use Weleda on the girls coz any of the chemical ones seem to give Maya exczema.

ouch - that is the sort of thing that I do - I have to go to the pharmacy tomorrow so will enquire there. Hopefully they will say that it does not matter too much as long as it is SPF?? - I generally need a couple of tubes to scatter around the car/house/nappy bag otherwise I forget!!

I've just been to my local pharmacy and bought some. I got the Sun Sense Toddler Milk (which was what they recommend). It is SPF30 and water resistant for 40 minutes.

I got both the 250ml lotion bottle, and a 50ml roll on - perfect for the handbag.

Was $40 for both. You can probably get it cheaper online, but I needed it then as my little monkey refuses to keep his sunhat on!

Snap Potato - I have bought exactly the same!! i got the bottle and the roll on to - thought it would be good for the nappy bag. I like the idea that the roll on won't be so messy if Amy find it in the bag and opens it (which i am sure she will!).

I like that it is not greasy and the little smell that it has (not much at all) is quite nice. Price was pretty good to.
