Hehehe Peachy we are using the Eco Store products too - they just smell so fantastic! I massage Ollie using their aromatherapy moisturiser, which he seems to enjoy. I havent been brave enough to try the shower yet - might see if DH wants to try it tonight.

Yep, I'm looking forward to it too!
Peachy, I know what you mean! I think we were given some eco store stuff - I might try it out sometime soon.

Yey me too!!
Anyssa has no probs in the shower either - tries to drink the water splashes on her face. We're just using ecostore shampoo at the moment, but no body washing products. I use the weleda calendular lotion for massage and for any dry bits of skin - it smells yummmm too. I give her girly bits and bum a good clean with a wet muslin when she gets out of the shower.
i didn't know you could do swimming lessons so young! How do the bubs get on with all the chlorine?

We haven't tried the shower yet either, but it sounds like fun. Eva loves her bath and only complains when we take her out! We've been using Mustela skin products and vitamin E cream on her skin and it's without a blemish. She had cradle cap a while back and almond oil seemed to clear it up.
Eva slept for 4 hours after lunch, was up an hour, then back to bed after her bath. Poor wee thing, definately isn't herself but I'm glad she's sleeping it off.
You Welly girls should take a picture for us! Hope you have a nice catch-up. I'm glad you've finally got some Oct mums to meet up with NikkiB

to all the bubs and their jabs.
Blair loves the bath, we don't have a bath in our place so he's into the baby bath everynight and trys to stretch out. I've done the shower thing with him a couple of times and DH had his first shower with him over the weekend (He got his cast off on Tuesday so he can resume normal baby duties). At the moment showers are more about fun rather than cleansing.

Awww, look at how clever she is.. Holding her bottle all by herself!! Gorgeous!!
Keziah has been a little poop today, I fed her lunch and then put her down for a nap at about 1.30 and she was awake again by 2.30 so I thought it must have been too hot for her so I fed her again to rehydrate her and we went to the library up the road where she threw the biggest tanty ever.. So I quickly chose some books for her and we came home to have yet ANOTHER feed due to being a grumpy toad and not wanting to settle herself down again. She fell asleep on the boobie so I put her in her bed and she slept for 15 minutes before throwing yet another HUGE wobbly!!!!! Gah, talk about frustrating.. I didn't get anything done today because I was either feeding or entertaining my little bean.. Then this evening I did the normal bedtime routine and put her in her bed (asleep at the time) came out and folded the laundry.. took some washing into our room (Keziah is in there with us) and she started screaming again, so I picked her up re-swaddled her gave her a binkee, sung her a few bedtime songs and shushed her for a few minutes then put her back into bed using her musical mobile and binkee as a distraction..checked on her again 10 minutes later and she was sound asleep!!! FINALLY
I must admit it's soooo hot tonight, I'm sweating myself and I'm not under blankets or anything
Oh, and one more thing.. I was reading her a story this afternoon and Miss 10 (step daughter) came in and wanted to join in too so sat on the bed behind Keziah... once the story was read Miss 10 decided that she wanted to read one of the books I got for bubs at the library, so picked one up smashing the corner of the book into Keziah's little head sending her into another tizzy... I had just settled her down too so that was another 'moment' for today!!
*sigh* I'm glad it's over with actually, I've had enough

You'd be glad that day is over Neeks!
I'm off to the Osteo this morning and my Mum is coming over to look after Mikayla as last week I didn't get my full appointment as she was performing too much! Was hoping she'd sleep the whole time for Mum (we've never left her with anyone else yet and Mum's a bit aprehensive!) but she's just fallen asleep on her play mat - oops!

Oh, Manz - she is so clever! Does she do it every time? Carys will hold 'onto' her bottle but won't hold it 'up'! Have a good time at the osteo (babeless) today - i'm sure it'll be more relaxing than last time around.
Neeks , hope today is much better for you.
And big , to the jabs babies too. Especially those who are having more than the two scheduled immune shots - we will probably have more today too when we go to see Carys' Paediatrician (to have her signed out of specialist care for being prem). Hopefully they won't poke and prod her too much , god knows she has had enough of that in her life thus far!
Have a great catchup Welly girls! Sounds like so much fun.
I just heard from work - they want me back! I am actually really looking forward to doing a few hours a week (although it will mean less ohbaby time) but a little more money will mean a little less stress and i really want to keep my foot in the door with that job as i just love it and the people i work with too - they are like my second family.
Ok, must get dressed and do more than sit on the internet today.

Hey Salifer, I took Luke to get weighed today and he is 6.480kg, 9 1/2 weeks and 63cm long.
He sleeps over 9 hours at night, and has for about 3 weeks... I want him to sleep more like 11 hours, so that it is time to get up when he wakes (most of the time it is about 5.30am)

WOW Neeks, I thought I was lucky getting from 10pm to 7am! I think Mikayla would've slept through almost from birth if she was allowed - the MW had me getting her up every 4hrs max as we were having probs with weight gain, she has slept through from about 6 weeks old, was 4 1/2kg then.
Nah, BabyG, she doesn't do it every time, that's the first time she's held it properly and hasn't done it since....she'd done it a couple of times before, but not as well as last night!! Good luck at the Paed today!

Yeah 11 hours over night, a one hour up/feed/change bum etc then back to bed for another 1 1/2ish then up for 3 hours (give or take) then back to bed for anywhere between 1 - 4 hours.. I guess she's growing alot at the moment cause the more she eats, the more she seems to sleep

Wow, 8kgs already!!!
Rex had an awful night last night He woke about 2am then again at 5am...I think his teething is really disrupting his sleeping at night, only getting 4 1/2 hours out of him, maximum Where's my 6 hour sleeper?
Lucky you guys whos babies are sleeping through...Salifer, it looks like we might be in the same boat.

NikkiB, I get up at approx those times every night to feed Eva!! Hard though, if you're not use to it. Have had a lovely day today at Takapuna beach watching the board sailing. Eva seems to have reovered well from yesterdays jabs. I'm loving this weather!
