I work 2 days a week as a planner. I went back to my old job. I really enjoy it most of the time but some days it really drags - usually when I'm knackered

Enjoy your weekends girls

Morning everyone . Yay, it's Labour weekend! Hope you all have a good one.

Peanut, it's still fine but becoming more overcast, so hopefully the rain holds off for the street races. Sally, hope you find a dress you like. Have fun in the garden lilfatty - we're hoping to do some gardening if the weather holds. That would be neat having a combined party Lisha, how cool!  Emz, how did your blood tests go? Hey Floss, how are Noah and Lola doing? Wow, it musn't be long before their first birthday - were they born in mid Novemberish? Would love to see some recent photos and hear what they're up to.

Awesome photos Peanut . Impressive vege garden and love the photos of Mac, he's such a cute wee man. Playing in the rain looked like fun.

I keep forgetting to go shopping for a paddling pool. Jimmy will love it, I know. Thought someones idea of using a small blow up pool in the base of the shower as a baby bath for older bubbas was a fab idea too, so might have to get a big one and a little one .

Hey ladies, just a bit of an update for you. Phoenix has said his first words, on Thursday he came up with "Mum" and then "Bubba". Now I can't shut him up hahaha. He also has taken his first couple of steps (walking) yesterday... slow down, whoaaa! 2 weeks ago he figured how to go up stairs / steps, but no idea how to come down. We currently can count 8 teeth but looks like more are on their way.

Off to OZ for that wee trip this coming Saturday, I feel prepared but who knows whats going to happen with Phoenix's mood on the day.

Tara, you will be fine. Have fun and enjoy yoaur trip! I loved mine!

Well, was coming on here to post this morning but got side tracked by the awesome weather..... Mac has taken his first steps! He will happily take 5 or 6 in a rown before dropping to crawling. Was sooo excited - so nearly there after nearly 5 months of crawling!

Best go DH is home from the coast and obviously seriously hang over and DS screaming in bed after waking

Hi all

OMG at the babies walking! That's so cool! And floss that pic is just divine. What gorgeous wee kiddies you have

All fine here, not pg but possibly did get pg but couldn't implant so I'm off to my spec on 5/11 to start fertility drugs. I'm OK about that I guess. At least it'll get things moving seeing as the doc reckons out of the 2 times I ovulated in the last 7 months I probably got pg both times but couldn't implant. So drugs it is lol

Jack's good. He's starting to stand alone for a few seconds by himself, is teething for #9 (a bottom one) and now says 'mum' and 'bubba' when we asked where he is, or call out his name and he's like 'bubba!' He's also starting to say hi back to us when he waves which is so cool. Other than that, his sleeping his turned crap and has screamed down the house for the last 3 nights, and finally gone to sleep at 9pm (usually 6.30-7ish) which has made the days terrible. Ah the joys!

Wow, first birthdays are just around the corner!

Emz, sorry to hear about your dramas! Its def positive that both times of ovulation you conceived...now just to make it stick! Weird thing is that you have your appt on the same day as my good friend - they must take all repeat business on the same day

All those teeth that Jack has. Is he eating roast dinners yet? Mac's sleeping has turned to crap the last 3 nights too and now he wakes with a bad attitude so not fun.

Right must go shower while the midget is having a sleep. We have baby music this morning.

What a beautiful photo Floss. All three are looking so sweet. Hope Noah's temp has returned to normal now.

Wow some bubbas have lots of teeth huh . Liam has 3 through & the 4th isn't far away. Wish it would just come through as it's been giving him a bit of trouble I think. Liam had a weird night too & woke up 3 or 4 times. That never happens so not sure what was going on...

And walking & talking babies, how cool . Liam has well & truely sussed out "walking" around the couch & coffee table but no solo steps yet. His main words are dada, dur (at the cat) & mama or mum occassionally.

Have a fabulous time in Oz Tara. I hope Phee enjoys his plane ride & behaves himself .

Pleased that you've got an appt sorted emz. It's always good to have a plan.

We're all on for moving this weekend. Yay! Will be great once we're there & all unpacked.

Better go, Liam's had enough of his morning tea & wants out of highchair.

Your kids are just gorgeous Floss. What did the photographer do to get them all looking in the same direction with such sweet expressions?? Love Lola's ponytail . Hope Noah doesn't have tonsilitis, poor wee chap. And that Zoe doesn't catch the vomiting bug Lisha.

Have a wonderful trip to Aussie Tara - I'm sure you'll both have heaps of fun, jealous!

Emz, sorry about the BFN but things sound positive and good to hear you're taking steps towards a sticky bubba.

Yay for moving Sally! Guess you're starting to pack up now huh? Ugh, I hate moving - at least until everything is unpacked again (living somewhere new is always fun).

Did DH enjoy the street races Peanut? We saw heaps of bikes drive past all weekend - kept Jimmy entertained .

Crap about broken night's sleep guys. Wonder if its common at this age? Jimmy has woken several times most nights lately too. Most times he can settle back to sleep but sometime I go and tuck him in again and give him his dummy just so I don't have to listen to him talk to himself for half an hour lol.

Wow, all your kiddies are growing up so fast - Jimmy seems so slow in comparison, stuck on commando crawling. Think he might be finally getting his first tooth though .

We had coffee group at home this morning, but there were only 5 babies today. We now have two sets of twins in our group - cool huh? They're both a boy and girl. I think there are now 12 couples and 14 babies in our group - eek!

Thanks guys, the photographer I used is one of my friends she was amazing at getting them to laugh I think it made it eaiser that they know her so were relaxed.

Hope you have a fab time in oz Tara.

Lisha fingers crossed the spew bug has left your house.

Glad you have a date to see the specialist Emz, means that you will have that BFP soon.

Noahs still sick with fevers to him to the drs today who said he had an infection but not sure what so we have had to get a pee sample and were told if he gets another one take him stright to hospital so I'm hoping that it doesn't come to that.

Good Morning, Girls! Its a crappy day here today but the bonus is that the midget is in bed asleep so don't have anything to do at the moment!

Floss, hope wee Noah is ok. Not fun at all stressing you like that.

Anna, DH had a brilliant time. He said the weather was fantastic and that he doesn't think he has drank that much in a long time

Sally, yah for moving! Its finally happening. Am still jealous that you get a new house...I still have new house envy and we have only been in this house 18 months.

Did a practise run for DC today. Even though we don't start until end of Jan next year, I wanted to do a run while there was still full traffic on the road as seniors finish school in about 3 weeks and then wouldn't get true traffic times. I have to leave home half an hour before I want to be at school. Sally, how long at you actually at DC for when you drop Liam off? I have fatcor in 10 mins. Does that sound right.

I'd say 10 mins is about right for being at DC. We're probably inside for 5 or 6 mins but by the time we drive in & get Liam out etc it'd probably be 10 mins all up. Good idea to do a practice run too . You're going back fulltime aren't you?

Well we had a shocker of a night here. Liam kept waking up & just wouldn't go back to sleep for ages. We tried everything but in the end we basically just left him to it (after I'd checked he was still in bed etc). He's conked out now & hopefully will stay that way for a while . It made me wonder if I really want a newborn afterall!

I'm getting excited about moving & have been checking out trademe for some new furniture. I'm hoping to get a sofabed, new couch & a larger bookcase.

Yah, for new furniture too. Now I am even more jealous Love your new ticker too!

I am going back full time but teaching is pretty flexible and I wouldn't say that I work 40 hours a week. I am hoping to have him picked up by 3.45 at the latest most days.

Sally, are you still starting trying in Dec? We are but am now getting nervous as well as excited. Also knowing that its probably my last pregnancy is kinda scary.

Some help too please - mac has taken to climbing on the coffee table and no amount of saying No and removing him is helping. Any ideas? I have let him fall off it (its quite low to the ground) and he thpught it was funny and laughed

Oh Floss, hope Noah didn't need a trip to the hospital.

Hmm, not sure what you could do about the coffee table Peanut, other than take it away completely for a while? We have a lightweight oak one that we were using as an additional fire barrier until today when Jimmy tipped it over onto his leg (luckily it fell slowly and didn't hurt him at all) - so we've taken it out of the lounge at the moment.

I'm wondering how you teach them to obey "no" also .

Yay Sally for new furniture. We sold a lounge suite a while back and got a secondhand sofa bed in its place - once Jimmy moved into the 'spare' room.

Forgot to say yesterday, at coffee group someone who sees a Karitane nurse said apparently they're now advising to feed babies on solids whole eggs now, rather than having to wait until they're 1. Has anyone else heard this? Have you continued feeding Liam whole eggs Sally and did he have any problems that time you made scrambled eggs for him.
