Topic: Your Photos Posted: 07 June 2008 at 9:47pm |
Just a wee poll, as I've been sorting my photos while the rugby was on.
Are all of your photos stored on memory cards?
Or are they stored on your hard drive of your computer?
Where else have you got them stored?
Do you use an online site to store your photos - just in case something happens to your computer eg: virus or blows up?
Do they have a limit on how many photos/albums you can have at one time?
As you were

Are all of you photos stored on memory cards? Nope
Or are they stored on your hard drive of your computer? Yep they all are
Where else have you got them stored? I have many disks of them around the world . I have told my parents and my inlaws to be careful with them if they want to look at them as there are photos of me giving birth and some naked photos of me in the bath and shower with the boys.
Do you use an online site to store your photos - just in case something happens to your computer eg: virus or blows up? I have selected ones on photobucket and I have pretty much all of them on Picsasa(sp?) apart from the ones I have recently taken.
Do they have a limit on how many photos/albums you can have at one time? I have no idea, I have over 2000 photos there and haven't had a problem.

Are all of your photos stored on memory cards? Yup the bulk of them that I have not yet printed. I have thousands.
Or are they stored on your hard drive of your computer? Yup all still saved on my hard drive of laptop, hence why the bloody thing is going so slow at the moment. I need to take them off. Same with all the videos.
Where else have you got them stored? CD's AND DVD's and lots of them, stupid me didn't label them so now I don't know what is what.
Do you use an online site to store your photos - just in case something happens to your computer eg: virus or blows up? Yup ...well have started to move them across ...is a huge task. I think I will actually store them on several sites once I get going. I'm so paranoid about losing them all.
Do they have a limit on how many photos/albums you can have at one time? No idea. lol

Are all of your photos stored on memory cards?
Yes. Discs only have a limited life span, I am told, so I buy and use 1gig or higher and don't delete
Or are they stored on your hard drive of your computer?
on there as well. I should make some discs, I guess, but they are all on my cards.
Where else have you got them stored?
printed off and in albums. some of them... got about 1000 form the last year to go!
Do you use an online site to store your photos - just in case something happens to your computer eg: virus or blows up?

Do they have a limit on how many photos/albums you can have at one time?

Are all of your photos stored on memory cards?
No, I delete them off once they are loaded onto the computer
Or are they stored on your hard drive of your computer?
Yes on the laptop and the big computer (paranoid)
Where else have you got them stored?
Just on the computers
Do you use an online site to store your photos - just in case something happens to your computer eg: virus or blows up?
Yeah I use Picasa to upload them directly into my web album.
I also have some loaded on Snapfish.
I don't share the albums with anyone - just in case.
Do they have a limit on how many photos/albums you can have at one time?
No thankfully!

Are all of your photos stored on memory cards? No I have an external hard drive just for my photos
Or are they stored on your hard drive of your computer? See above external hard drive and some are on the main computer hard drive and some on the lap top (alot of double ups but all are on the external hard drive)
Where else have you got them stored? Some in photo bucket, face book and all are backed up on cd/dvd - I have a It Manager as a DH so he is always making sure I back things up! i also have the same cd's copied with my mum (which must update) just incase the house burns down - I love my photos and would cry for months if I lost them.
Do you use an online site to store your photos - just in case something happens to your computer eg: virus or blows up? Only some in Photobucket but once again see above
Do they have a limit on how many photos/albums you can have at one time? beats me LOL

Are all of your photos stored on memory cards? Only the ones that are still on the camera
Or are they stored on your hard drive of your computer? The ones that I haven't got around to putting on disc are still on the computer
Where else have you got them stored? The ones I have sorted are on disc and I made 2 copies. I did print a selection of photos from Jack's first year, plus we have photo montage on DVD to music that a friend did for Jack's first year
Do you use an online site to store your photos - just in case something happens to your computer eg: virus or blows up?
I have a few on facebook and some I have printed through snapfish
Do they have a limit on how many photos/albums you can have at one time? don't know

Are all of your photos stored on memory cards?
Or are they stored on your hard drive of your computer? I transfer straight from the memory card onto my computer, so no, none stored on the memory cards themselves.
Where else have you got them stored? As well as the PC harddrive, an external Harddrive and DVD disks. I also make copied for my mum who asks for them so I guess if my house burnt down she also has the photos on CD's.Also have hundred already printed.
Do you use an online site to store your photos - just in case something happens to your computer eg: virus or blows up? No, but I have an online album as well as photobucket with some of my favourites in there.
Do they have a limit on how many photos/albums you can have at one time? No.

Do you use an online site to store your photos - just in case something happens to your computer eg: virus or blows up? No, I just sporadically upload my favs.
