it's very tempting to wind you up and suggest you use it for the next one!
But I know you're in pain so I won't.

Fair enough Sheza, the name you have chosen is nice.
Yup me too Aquarius!!! haha That's funny, live near each other and going to be at hospital at same time. So you'll be there at 7.30? If nothing has happened here by 8am we are off to the hospital.

Good luck for tomorrow Danu and aquarius
Took Brenna to the GP today about her ear (had to be suctioned out = very horrible experience for both her and me!!!). Anyway, while we were at the GP, she commented on my blocked nose and thinks that I don't actually have a cold, but that bad sinus congestion is a sign of impending labour....I've never heard this before?? Have any of you?

Cute pic Kate!
OoOoOo Brenna if that's the case then yay because I've just come down with a cold (blocked nose and headaches mostly) over the last couple of days Maybe wishful thinking?
Sheza, well I guessed tomorrow on FB so you've got a few hours girly I guess either way, you know she'll be out soon (although VBAC would be nicer) but won't it just be so lovely to meet our girls? If I was up there I'd pop round and entertain Caden to give you a break, you poor thing!

Awww emz, thats so sweet hehe
Yes it will be lovely to meet our girls, wish they would hurry up and get out already lol!
When I see the specialist on Thursday, I am going to talk to him and my MW about how Ive been feeling, as in my worries about the CS/VBAC thing...I still want to try VBAC but Im also very aware that it could turn into an emergency CS anyways...so maybe I should just have an elective which will be much "nicer"...but then what if I have an elective..and always wonder if I could have achieved a VBAC...
My god, do I make sense lol Im having a wee stress out me thinks!!!!

Congrats Livs_mum - beautiful name and sounds like a great outcome (VBAC)!!!
Interesting Brenna - I've had a really blocked nose at night for the last few nights. Please, dear god, let it mean something!
Good luck today Dani and Tanya!

Congrats Livs_Mum - I love the name too!
I had a blocked nose before I went into labour although it might have been a cold. But fingers crossed in means something for you guys.
Had a second good night in a row. Am hoping they continue. Alex slept 9pm to 1.30am and then back down from 2.30am to about 5.30am. Touch wood it continues although he has a gummy yukky eye so things may go down hill!
Love the new pics Kate! She is gorgeous.

thanks guys - we are home now and all settled. Alessandra is doing well and discharged at birth weight so in other words is a glut . Her big sis is over the moon and very possessive! Labour went incredibly well - Sheena I was like you and hoping for a VBAC after an emergency c first time and it went like clockwork. I hope you get the same outcome . Congrats to everyone else too. By the way - St george's mums - make sure you get the cold milo!!!!!!

Congrats Livsmum!! Beautiful name
And good luck Dani and Aquarius!
My baby shower on Monday night was so nice, I'm kinda glad DH restrained me from shopping over the past couple of weeks because we got given a few things I was going to go and get! And one of the ladies there brought beads and little toys etc and everyone contributed a dangly part to a mobile, which was so sweet I had tears in my eyes when it was finished! It was just such a lovely night, I originally hadn't wanted to have a baby shower because I don't know many people in Hamilton yet (cept family) and I was worried no one would come, but like I said it was lovely
I'm off to my MW appointment in half an hour, and then to the hospital for another growth scan. I know the weights etc they estimate in the scans aren't always accurate but it would still be reassuring to know if they thought she was going to be a huge baby or if she was going to be smaller (and thus less painful lol).
EDIT- I just saw my ticker... 11 Days!!!!

BecM - squirt some breast milk into Alex's eye. It should help to clear up the gummy yuckiness.
Hoping to go to morning tea with a friend this morning.

Oops - mumzrule beat me to it!
Bummer - my friend just canceled morning tea because her and her little girl have a really bad cold. Hmmm...maybe I'll go for a walk and I wanted to go to the grocery store and pick up some more feijoa smoothie - it was totally awesome!
