hi all...
getting induced wed morn 7.30am...(nervous now)
i'm not sure how people get induced before 10 days other than a medical issue??? it still seems to be the standard....correct me other wise.
MW has been trying to get me in since monday but tis was earliest they could as fully booked...was bummed and had a cry yesterday ( as you would) but now its nearly hear and i feel unorganised.
its nice knowing things will happen tomorrow.
to top it all off mr 9 has tonsillitis and has been clinging to me non stop!!
if i dont get back on i will try to convince Karl that you guys dont bite and to put up some details tomorrow....

Kate it sounds like you are doing really great with Leah, good weight gain and sleep sounds like something I want as soon as possible - you will have to let me in on your secret!
Last night we had party time from 11ish until around 2.30, lots of runny poos and screeching, a couple of bottles within 1 hour and cuddles on chest of both mummy and daddy (thank god daddy is being awesome right now) then decided at 3 to change her and feed her a nice big bottle full and she slept until just before 8.....so I guess it was just one of those nights! Gotta expect that every now and then, but I was really worried because when she was crying she would draw her little legs in and everything would tense up including her belly so we just didn't know what was wrong...she would calm for a wee bit and then be off again - really scary, but looking back I am sure it was just like when I was in hospital and she didn't know what to do with herself, I guess sometimes we just read into things too much. Breaks your heart though!

Megan, yeah if I end up with an elective it will be sometime next week, will find out when I see the specialist on Thursday.
Im feeling a bit panicky actually, cos my sciatic nerve pain is getting worse and I dont know if I can handle it for another week Kind of makes me want to book the CS earlier...but then I really dont want one if I can help it.
Arghhh Caden is screaming from his bedroom, Ive just put him in bed and he is having a mental I need him to sleep cos I need to eat and have a rest.
Good luck for the induction Tanya

*lucker*
Nix21 it sounds like Georgia may of had trapped wind. Lilly got like that once when she was just born, rang mw and she said to put her in a nice deep bath to relax her and once we had her out to give her a tummy massage in a anti-clockwise circle to help move the "bubble".
It worked for us, maybe it will work for you

Sheza, that sucks about the pain Hopefully it's not too much longer for you.
God even though I'm over it, this pregnancy has been a breeze compared to my first one. I was in so much pain and sleep deprived in the last trimester that I was on anti-D's, sleeping pills (which I didn't take as I was worried about taking them), panadeine and finally codeine. None of which helped cos my blardy carpal tunnel and fluid was ridiculous. Plus if anyone's been full term over summer you'll know it's TERRIBLE!
I am remembering now what the 2 weeks of early/pre-labour I had with Jack was like - have been starting to go through it all for the last few days. Constantly sleeping with my head near the side of the bed as I feel like vomitting all the time, running to the loo etc. Ah the joys of it all DH heads back to work on Monday so hopefully she's here by then - I don't fancy taking care of Jack by myself, I figure I've done the solo thing for far too many months already this year... it's now my time to relax.
Gotta go the monkey is awake!

Thanks emz Yeah Im pretty miserable about it, every single night I get it and its so crippling, I remember one night when I was preg with caden and got it, I was nearly ready to get Adam to take me to hospital so I could beg them to induce me! I was a week over due then.
Ohhh exciting Dani!!!! Good Luck

Good luck Dani - you might see my midwife rushing around there if you make it in there soon, she has had an avalanche of labours lately....poor lady, but I suppose that is their job.....
Hope it all goes according to plan - if you have one.

**lurking** Ooh yay might have to more mini obers by lunchtime tomorrow. How you doing Sheza?? You are looking a bit 'over it' in your belly picture in you facial expression not your body. Can't be to long now. Less than a week if you get the CS. My pick was tomorrow so she better get cracking to be here by then. You never know, it might be a quick 3 hour thing, like my frined had with her 2nd. LOL she ended up having it on her mums bed.
Good luck and Labour vibes to those that need them.
