Does anyone know a good egg-free cake recipe?

Chloe's birthday is next week and I want to make her a cake, but she's allergic to egg... any suggestions?

Here is another one - its from a very old book

4 oz Butter        1cup sugar

2 dest sp golden syrup      1 c milk

1 1/2 c flour      2 dest sp cocoa

1 good tsp baking soda

Melt gently together butter, sugar golden syrup & 1/2 c milk.

Gently stir the melted ingredients into sifted flour & cocoa.  Disolve baking soda in the other 1/2 c milk and mix into other ingredients

Bake approx 30mins at 170deg C

When I usually make this I double the mixture so it takes longer but just keep an eye on it towards the end, also if it is cooked low and slow it helps the top not crack open.
