I am so sick of my MIL not listening to me when I explain things about Coopers routine etc. I'm sick of her doing the opposite of what I ask. I'm sick of feeling anxious and stressed out everytime I see her. I'm sick of arguing with DH about it. I just wish DH would get the job in Nelson he wants and then we wouldn't have to deal with her.

Bex that pic of the 2 premmies made me cry. It's so cute and premmie babies always make me cry cause they're so tiny and vulnerable but they are such little fighters. It's humbling.

I shouldn't vent about this because it is completely selfish BUT I am going to coz this is the vent thread.
its my birthday today and what do I get for it, an extremely extremely extremely grumpy unsettled overtired baby that wont sleep at all, have tried everything and she wont sleep. All she will do is scream when I try to put her down and grizzle and cry when she is up... It wouldn't be so bad if she were in a good mood while she was up but shes not she is in a revolting mood, All I'm asking for is maybe 1 hour of sleep, not only for me but for her sake too and it just doesn't seem like it is going to happen! I love that girl to pieces but please just give me a break...
told you it was selfish...

Happy Birthday!
I'm going to vent BIG TIME - I've just been summonsed to disputes regarding the vinyl layers damaging my shower in June last year. We didn't pay the rest of the bill while it was being sorted, they have ignored us for 7 months, and NOW say that the layers didn't do it, there were other tradespeople on site. Um, NO, THERE WEREN'T!!!! The ONLY tradespeople we had on the day it was broken (and the 3 days prior) was the vinyl layers, I contacted them the next morning when I got the pics emailed to me (I'd left town cos we couldn't walk in 1/2 the house while it was being done, not poss in our house with a 4 month old). I was told they'd come and look, but they never did, and now they pull this??!?!?!?!?! 7 months later?!?!?!?! To top it off, how am I meant to go to disputes, when I work for PORSE, and can't take my kiddy with me? So, I lose a day's pay, disrupt my family's week, all for an outright lie. I'm so pi$$ed.

I'm sick of being so sleep deprived, and then being cross and grouchy because of it. and not knowing what to do to help my little man sleep for longer.

Grrr, I have more moans. Stupid crappy neighbour is revving up some piece of junk car which is right outside my bedroom window so even if I could get Liam to sleep, they would wake him up, which also means there is no sleep for me.
DH has also decided he is playing golf tonight when I would rather he came home and took Liam off my hands so I could sleep a bit.
And I have a headache.
And I am hungry but don't know what to eat and too tired to really care.
Grr just feel like having a great big bawl
ETA...am seriously thinking about opening a can of condensed milk so I can eat it....that is how bad today is.
ETA more...Opened the condensed milk.......I feel sick

Gnaw Nat! HUGS!!! I'm still really lost. I have no direction in life and feel like I'm just floating. I'm almost 24 and I have no idea what or where I want to be in 5 years time. Talked to DP last night about us going our separate ways and after a heated discussion he rolled over, then 10 minutes later rolled back, cuddled me and started talking about having a sister for Mac and how much he loves me. It's like he just wiped the entire previous conversation from exisitence. And even if he did agree that we should spearate, I doubt I could do it cause he's such a good Dad and I don't want him and Mac to miss out on each other at all. I want us to work our relationship out cause I know that despite it all, I love the guy, but I just have no idea where to start. I don't even know whats wrong with our relationship, it's just all over the place and messed up and I don't know why. So if we have no idea whats actually wrong, how can we take steps to fix it?

hi all.
well i regularly read the vent thread and sometimes its like ive written some of these posts.
My husband just called" drunk" and asked if i would be annoyed if he stays at our mates place (30 mins away as he's too drunk to drive) he said our mate could drop him off if i was going to be angry about him not coming home. I am pissed off!!!
1. we only have 1 car. So i now have a carseat with no base (its in our car) so if something happens and i need to take our 3month old somewhere (doctors etc) i cant. ( hope im not jinxing myself- dont want anything bad to happen to our daughter!)
2. as usual ive been home all day with DD and was looking forward to alittle break when hubby came home.(he could give her i her late night bottle and i could get some cleaning up done)
3. I cooked a roast today as he seems to complain that we never have a proper meal on a friday nite. (usually coz he comes home late (9-10ish) and i cant be bothered cooking for him that late at night.
hmmmmm this is about the 3rd friday in 4 weeks hes decided that calling me around 8pm to tell me what is going on is acceptable. ITS NOT and ive told him numerous times.
" just call me when your finished work at let me know what you have planned so i know whats happening"
Im a pretty cruisy person and he can do what he wants when he wants. Its hard only having 1 car and hubby that forgets we are parents now, we have a baby to look after!
But when is my time? He harding ever looks after her so i can go have me time and when he does, shes unsettled when i get back and thats it, shes handed back to me to takes care of. does he not enjoy coming home and spending time with his daughter??
aghhhhhh grrrrr
sorry bout the novel.
but i do feel slightly better.

Stupid moving truck blocking our ROW, which is marked with broken yellow lines- blocking in 21 houses. Has said I can 'fit past there', but there's a big rock on one side and I don't want to scrape my car. Won't shift it, said I can tow it. DH is outside trying to deal with it now.

i don't a vent, just advice./ we had car troubles too with our last car - eery freakin' time we went to get a warrant in fact. Over $1000 each time. Anyway, the garage had a "hire purchase" deal through finance now - no interest and we paid over 6 months (could have done over longer). Maybe in your area you can find a garage like that. I'm sure it wouldn't just be Palmy who does it.
