You're all mad! I don't want to be pregnant or have a teeny baby again any time soon! As much as I love Flynn, and I've not even had a hard time of it, I can't wait for the first 12 weeks to be over... they are so much more fun when they can do stuff! Yup... bad parent here!

Totally not a bad parent!
I hate being pregnant - im so glad my bump has gone and this baby is out - i dont miss movements inside or anything. I dont really like newborn babies either, i prefer them when they start interracting, so dont feel bad Amy :P
i'm so glad ive done my bit to society and i dont have to do it again.. bring on the vasectomy!!!!!

Hey all!
Not read back but thought Id check in.
Rough few weeks but surprisingly, baby stuff and no sleep have not been the worst of it!!
Long story but hope we're getting past it now.
Hope all the May babies are doing well? Bryn will be 6 weeks old tomorrow! Got discharged from MW today and he's due his first jabs :s
He's actually settling into some kind of pattern now and seems to only be really waking once a night hen sleeping through till about 7.30 :D
Toby doing fab too, about to start potty training soon I think...did want to start earlier but recommendations are not to do it when other big changes (like new baby!) are due to take place soon apparently, so have put it off.....
Still on track for visit to UK in September.

Amy i dont like babies much. lol. i find them boring and they dont do much but when they start to get personalties they are just awesome and keep getting better every day!
Rowsie glad to see you back. wow 6 weeks. thats crazy. glad to see things are settling down. hope you doing well
MissA we are having to do all Finns feeds by syringe and i am so over it. thus why i have just got gripe water and new teets. we have the breast to bottle ones which mack had and he had no probs switching so hopefully Finn wont either, but cos of his screaming and getting wind between fill each syringe is filled its a nightmare.
I was speaking to a friend before whos kid had wiked reflux and really bad allergies and her 2nd baby was like this so she thought it was reflux again but her specialist said some kids take up to 14 days to get used to digesting food properly so i still have a bit of hope once we clear the wind and get supply or formula sorted it may not be reflux after all.

Rowsie i'm so glad things are getting sorted for you <3
Mon, i've never delt with a baby with proper reflux before! Thomas just has a dairy intollerance so the gavisgon was to settle him til we managed to get him on a dairy free formula when he was little. Lily is 100% different to how Thomas was, so this is all a massive learning curve for me!
I've started making jewellery again :D Its something I can do between feeds that I can just dump in a box out of thomas's way and pick up again at any time. I'll put pix up on facebook when i've finished a few bits.
I also make 1/12 scale doll house food that I sell online - i'm having a break from that, but all the jewellery is made from polymer clay (Fimo) so I dont have to spend money on getting materials yay! Least i'm not so bored

Oh - I never thought that maybe Alex is so unsettled and such a good screamer because of my diet. Think I had better do some research on what I am meant to be eating and more importantly avoiding!
Alex's screaming has become sooo much louder and more distressing in the last 2 days - man that boy has a good set of lungs!!
i'm thinking i might not bother with contraception and just see what happens!
thanks for checking in rowsie - it's great to hear from you.
Congrats Mickey and Pixie!! Really looking forward to all the details.

Heya ladies!
had my last midwife appointment today, so sad! On a good note, Damien has gained 440gm since last visit so he is doing pretty well
Had big double birthday party over the weekend which went really well & SIL came & brought her Bubs. There was only 4oz differencebetween Damien & my neice but the size difference between them is HUGE, goes to show how much he has grown as there is only 4 weeks between them age wise.
TMI alert but I have been totally ripped off with AF! I woke up this morning with some light bleeding but now has well & truly turned into a period So gutted! With Erika I didnt get it back for 8 months! Must be a boy thing for me because after Alex & Blaire I got it straight away too, but I always thought it was because of having a c-section, but I guess not *SIGH*

go Pinky. i reckon its a great idea so far. lol. everyone told me how hard it would be in the early days but so far its ok. i know there will be bad patches but i was expecting it to absolutely fall apart to start of with and i havent shed a tear since i was in labour so it cant be too bad. lol. one of the woman in my may 09 thread had her 2nd baby when #1 was 10.5 months. lol.
yay for the jewellery MissA. sounds awesome. i have heaps of friends that make awesome stuff but i dont wear jewellery so im always so bummed.lol
Me and mack went wandering round the mall this arvo and left DH and the baby at home. he has been sleeping heaps recently but i honestly thing it is boredom cos he only slept an hour this monring and has only just gone down again now so i think he has cabon fever like me. hehe

I noticed her having them once a day (in the evening) but she could have had them more but wouldnt have noticed moving around and all.
Nice to see you back Rowsie! Hope things keep improving with you. Yay for your trip to the UK, totally jealous!!
Hehe Pinky, the throwing caution to the wind sounds like fun! Cant wait to see how you get on!
OMG Toni, not AF already?! I can totally understand you feeling ripped off! I am so hoping for more the 8month end rather than 6 weeks!

That's good to hear. I was going to ask you how it was going with the one year age gap. But 10.5mths! wow - I don't think I'll be going for that close. I am thinking somewhere between 1 & 1 1/2year gap at the moment. I don't think I will go back to work now either - I personally don't think I would cope! But I will prob keep working a couple of hours a week from home just for a bit of pocket money.

My MW talked to me about AF at her last visit and from what she was saying I was expecting it would come back anytime now! Although at the mo i'm still bleeding from giving birth.

Oh the joys of my hairdryer!!! I have discovered that within seconds of turning on my hairdryer Alex will stop crying and fall asleep or re-settle. Only problem is that I have had to turn it on 7 times in the last 2 hours! (I'm trying to see if he will stretch his sleeps out to 3 hours between feeds).
It also helps that I can't hear him over the hairdryer! hehe.

LOL that method of contraception is only good if it doesn't matter if it doesn't work LOL
To be "effective" there are rules like: no AF, breastfeeding every 3 (or 4?) hours, only for the first 6months etc etc.
Its easy enough to get preggaz while breastfeeding, I haven't stopped breastfeeding yet since Alex was born over 5.5 years ago

That's, no offence to anyone, a really stupid form of contraception!! lol one of my friends used it, was breast feeding 2 hourly, and didn't have AF and got pregnant 3 months after the last kid.
It's different when everyone gets their af back, Lily feeds 2-4 hourly and is 3.5 months, I've had af back once, but still waiting for the 2nd one to show up!
