Hi all back from my night away in Wellington was great but a little downer was my flight from Auckland to Wellington was cancelled due to fog so I was at the airport from 9am till 5.30pm. I managed to start and finish a book 'mothers group' lovely book so so so so sad but great at the same time. Not such a good look sitting at the airport with tears in my eyes from reading the book. But had a great time down there now back to reality!! Birthday count down is on!! How is everyone going?
Aroha- Glad to hear you had such a good time! ahh I remember hearing all the flights were cancled in the morning what a pain stealing your first day away!
Aw if it makes you cry must be a very good book!
So Damon has had a bad cold and we have had to work all week (me and Damon that is) usaly we only work two-three mornings a week and go in when needed so we are both tierd. Really want a steam vapouriser for his room aparently there fantastic
How is Damon doing Nadia? Hopefully feeling better.
Sounds like a busy short weekend in Wellington Aroha!
eeek its June! That means birthdays.. (though some of the babies are born in July)
We have been so busy lately. I think Zac is at the stage of just wearing me out I am so exhausted! Hope everyone else is doing okay. I am definitely on the birthday countdown though feels a little bittersweet to see the baby stage go.
Panda - so agree no longer a baby, but still exciting... I was thinking back to what it was like this time last year! Huge and so wanting him to arrive!
Hope everyone is doing well PT started 'officially' walking today, well we called it officially as he kept doing 5 or more steps in a row and more than once.
WOW go PT!!! Did you have to do anything to encourage him to walk Aroha? Zac just stands still and lunges for me lol.
Hmmm this time last year I was busy eating a ton of peanut butter toast and napping a lot. Very nervous about how exactly I was going to get the baby out. Very different now! Certainly not getting any naps.
Panda - PT was lunging at us and he still is but manages to get a couple of steps in now before the lung and is taking a step or two before going down on all fours.
That's how Emmett was too Aroha. Now he can run :)
This time last year I was huge and living on pork lol now I have a little boy who can run and give kisses. Time to plan for number three!
I don't think you are insane - I just don't want to go through the MS and the sleepless nights and the needing to pee all the time with a toddler around AND then the whole newborn thing again I know it is meant to be easier the second time around but I somehow think that isn't always the case.
Yup we're in Perth. Its great. Funny to think the boys won't ever remember living in NZ. I love being pregnant. Adding number two is supposedly harder than adding in number three but we shall see.
Wow go the walking babys! Damon is all better now and back into everything! Hes super active and busy has to be doing a new thing every two seconds.
I am happy to wait for awhile before even thinking of number two. We want another but we both know Damon is going to be a very busy boy and will need alot of time plus the money is to tight for another yet.
Lol Mum2Ollie I am feeling the same! My baby boy is growing up so now I am thinking of another one.. but I want Zac to be a little older before I do it again just so he is more independent so maybe start trying in December. One of my Mum friends got pregnant 3 months after having her baby! Then her baby came 4 weeks early!
Oh cool, Zac is doing the lunging or sitting back down at the moment. Will just keep encouraging him He is really good at climbing though.. that is not a good thing! Too often do I leave him for a second and he is standing on the tv cabinet touching the tv!
Nadia - cold night for you hope you are managing to stay warm!!!
Panda - boys are little ratbags aren't they!!
PT is sleeping like a champion at the moment, we did sleep training in the weekend and now we have had nearly a whole week of 11-13hr night sleeps I am starting to feel normal again!! Bliss. Just had to share in-case it stopped need to be proud of my boy while I can
Nadia - I am worried you might have frozen it is cold enough up here 1 over night and 12 to high today although it does feel lovely and warm inside with the sun coming in.
