Mine is any "week" really- although obviously now its big-un, the 12 week mark. Its when I have my nuchal scan, my first midwife appointment and obviously the safer second trimester. Only 2 1/2 weeks to go!

Weekend has been good. MS still dragging me down but I definitly feel like a weight has been lifted with my scan results this time We took DD to a show- Tractor Tom. She had a feild day- was so much fun. I sometimes worry how all our family dynamics are going to change with a new addition. Guess theres not alot we can do about it now!

Hope everyone has had a good weekend! Hope the MS stays mild/away for those who have been lucky enough to avoid it til now

< language=> oh dont talk to me about MS i get afternoon/evening sickness and yesterday was in bed by 4pm!! I was feeling so  and then the DH decided he wanted some loving (tried the nite before 2) but was told where to go LOL.

I too went to the parent & child show with Bombshell & man it was so cool except every one just looked at me when I asked for the freebies too as if to say what? you not pregnant. Mind you bombshell is alot more obvious than me  one lady at one booth gave me such a dirty look that i turned round to her & said yes im 6 weeks pregnant so i hope im not showing yet !!! she was embarressed to say the least . but the stuf was amazing & the we went to JK's at dressmart & got some cute pants & onesies for $2.95 a piece what a score LOL *makes note to self to go shopping again with bombshell as she attacts all the bargins LOL*

Yay on scans & milestones. ive reached my 6 week so now the 8 week so I can book in with the midwife.

I was in bed by 7pm last night and my DH tried something similar Binkas Mum, there was no way he was getting any loving last night from me either lol

I seem to have slight blah feeling all day and I have to keep my tummy full with food because as soon as I start the slightest feeling of being hungry it gets worse.

But I come home to a crazy puppy, he has so much energy it's insane but I can't be bothered taking him for a walk because it's cold and miserable outside. Pity I don't have a little child who can play with him and wear him out for me! lol

This is a question which will seem very silly to some but I'm still learning hehe.. how soon can you find out the sex? I'm having a scan (if my midwife remembers what was discussed by then) on the 12th of december. will it be possible to find out then or will I have to wait til the next one? I'm dying to know, I'm not good at waiting for surprises at all! lol

Stace you should of just send a text to me. From 12 weeks it is able to been seen thou it is hard to find out. Depends on where you have the scan done as to if they will look for you. Broadway Radiology I found to be useless but that was from my first experience with them with Andrew. If you get a choice go to the hospital and have it done.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Oh, that would be cool if they can tell at 12 weeks! I agree Stacey, the earlier the better. I also think you and I have similar symptoms. I was explaining it to someone today - it is like you have eaten too many sugary lollies or too much chocolate, and you have that slightly sickly feeling that you can't get rid of. Eating regularly keeps it at bay, and after a week or so of feeling less hungry I am now back to feeling more hungry and have to ncrease what I am taking to school to eat.

Binkas mum, I felt a bit like you at the show, though luckily I am quite overweight so some peopl emay have htought I was a bit furhter along than I am!

The likelihood of them being able to tell you the sex at 12 weeks is very minimal (we asked at my first 12 week one and he said if he had to say either way he would have said Boy- for my DD!) so I wouldn't get your hopes up Usually the 18-20 week scan will give you a more reliable answer. Most of the stuff I've read says that they won't even try to tell before you're 18 weeks anyway- we must have had a naughty scan-man first time round!

Its just been daylight savings here so I'm so tired! DD got up at 6am and I could have died. In 2 weeks we are going to Paris to watch the ABs play France I am so excited!!! We are spending a long weekend there then the next weekend we're off to Wales to watch them play in Cardiff. We've also just about to book our holiday over Christmas in Spain- trying to fill up time until March when I come home for a visit

We've been told no naughty stuff until I'm 16 weeks and that is only if my bleeding stops in that time. Poor DH! Ah well- he got 11 months of pretty much non-stop BDing so I don't have too much sympathy.

Hope all is well with everyone else

I was just being nosey (lol)... Stacey I have found Broadway Radiology great, so maybe it just depends what sonographer you get... but then I've had 3 different people so far... All the best for the scan. As for finding the gender though, even if they could see it wouldn't be very accurate and I would suggest waiting until the 20 week mark.

I thought Palmy Nth didn't do 12 week scans ?!?! good on ya if you get one!

Feeling for all you m/s ladies...

I've got a strong line of twins on my side and I can be very convincing when I want to be. I want to know for sure one way or another if I got one or two and agreed to wait until I saw my midwife next (she thinks I may change my mind but I won't lol).. I will get my scan one way or another haha

Yay! Saw my bubba today! So glad I had a datign scan as I am not as far along as I thought. Going by dates of last AF, I should be 8 weeks, I thought I was 7 weeks, but bubs is measuring at 6 weeks 3 days - quite different! So I must go and change my EDD - now 24th June. You could see the heart flickering away though, that was cool, and apparently not that common at this early stage. Hope that is a good sign!
