Such good news Nzveggie!!! So pleased for you. I'm all good. Trying to avoid symptom watch. Generally feel awful most of the time so that is ok. Just want the days to tick by quicker so I can get to Thursday a week away and have that first scan.
I'm getting more and more certain that if this one doesn't work I can't go through this again. I guess I have to deal with that when it happens but I'm just so 'in 2 minds' about the whole thing. I'm trying to prepare myself either way and its not helping, but hard to stop mind wondering about the possibilities. I'm feeling my age I think and wondering if I can cope with a baby!
Mind is everywhere, but should be on getting my son something to eat!!! I have no appetite and don't want to be around food AT ALL. But needs must. Bye for now.

Return of the dreaded spotting, have to go in for a scan tomorrow. It's a bit different since I can feel him moving right now but still feeling the nerves a bit.

Glad he is wriggling around to say "all is well mum". I worked in a NICU/SCBU for a while in the UK and whilst there is never a better incubator in the world than mum, 30 weeks is a good gestation. Rest up.

Had terrible night. Woke up at 4.30am feeling perfectly normal. Went to loo, had drink of water - no nausea, boobs flat as, no bloating. Lay awake thinking about all the reasons it would be ok not to have a baby. Almost to point of thinking I'm glad this is happening, its a terrible decision to have another baby at 40. Now I'm up and dressed and sick to my stomach again and my shorts are uncomfortable.
This is seriously so sad and stressful. Just feel so caught in limbo land. Its another week until scan. I can't stop thinking about how I'm going to cope no matter what the outcome is. Why is life so annoying and complicated? Or is this just me getting too anxious?

Feeling any better zmadebaby? If it's possible for you maybe it's worth finding a counsellor to talk through your feelings. I kind of wish I had done that as I found the first 18 weeks or so very tough mentally.
Had a scan yesterday they couldn't see any reason for spotting so it's likely nothing. Baby growing well and everything doing what it's meant to, quite reassuring as I enter the home stretch.

Just popping in to say hi. I've not been on here for ages. We last had a great scan at 8.5wks & that was the one that was freaking me out as our other babies died at 8wks although I didn't MC till 11w,5d with both of them. But baby was all fine. My specialist has kept me on progesterone and monitoring my thyroid till 12 weeks. They've offered more scans but we decided to wait till next week for our 12week scan - which coincidentally will need to be on 11w,5d as we are going away to Great barrier island the following day for a week. I'm rather terrified about going on that fateful day but DW swears it will be okay this time. I feel like it will too. Still having queasiness and retching if I don't eat some protein every 2 hrs and lots of tiredness - but I thing like the awful all day & night sickness that I had last time on weeks 8-10 (after the baby had died and we didn't know). This time round it feels like growing symptoms. So happy to see you still going strong NZVeggie! Do you have any tips for yummy easy to make protein for us veggies?

so incredibly lovely to read all your positive stories ladies. so so so thrilled for all of you. I feel so blessed to have my son and can't imagine how I could cope with all that I have without him. Everyone deserves at least one miracle and its happening for you all. I have a friend who took 8 years to get her miracle - 3 rounds of IVF. As soon as she stopped bf, she got pregnant again naturally and just had #2 last week. Our bodies are miraculous.
I'm feeling ok today. writing down my feelings is really helping. have to keep busy. xxx

Pepi!!!! Sooo lovely to hear from you. I am so so glad things are going well for you too. I am finally starting to relax as I am now 3 weeks past my furtherest previous pregnancy!! Still get nervous but I can now find the heartbeat quickly and easily with my Doppler and that helps immensely. 9w4d today!
I'm afraid up until 3-4 days ago I was incapable of cooking or eating anything healthy. I was eating a lot of frys (the brand of vego stuff). Particularly their butter 'chicken' and burgers! Only the last few days I've been eating normally again and I'm on holiday in NZ for a wedding so not eating my normal home cooked stuff anyway!
Eggs? I have had a craving for curried eggs recently. With a salad is what I had a couple of days ago! That was quick and easy.
As for scans - maybe it's time 11w5d became replaced with good memories - I'm having my 12w scan on that date too (for me that's 12th december!!! Please check in and let us know how you are doing afterwards!

Hi everyone. Glad to hear how you are all feelong. I'm doing well has my Obstetrician and Med Doctor appt the othere day. All is looking well. Have been started on Aspirin to reduce the risk of Pre eclampsia. Also have my GTT on Monday as my HBA1c level was borderline. Not really surprised though as I am at higher risk due to my bmi being 36. So at the moment just eating healthy and staying away from sugar.

Hi ladies! So much good news :) Yay NZveg sounds like everyone was over the moon for you...so great news just before Xmas🎄 I'm 32wks today!! Can't really believe it, my bump is def on the smaller side of 'average' so hoping all is ok, he was measuring right where he should've been at 20wk scan and I have another one around 36wks. My measurements are measuring where they should be which is good. All I want now is a safe delivery and a healthy bub at the end of it. Look forward to hearing how everyone's next scans go x

How lovely for you to be nearing the sharing stage NZVeggie! Talz, can't wait to hear about your scan.
Mac, my bump is smallish too and I had scan this week and baby is at the 54th percentile so just about bang in the middle. It's so weird how people carry so differently.

Yay sooo many graduates and all doing so well! I feel like I'm massive already. I'm too early to be showing so it must be bloating but man it's annoying coz it won't go away and I can't hide this much longer! I look more like 20w than 10w

I had quite bad bloating early on, then it kind of went down for a few weeks then the real bump popped up. Did mean I had to buy maternity pants quite early on!
