Hello lovely ladies,
I have just found out I'm pregnant - 4 weeks. If all goes well bubs is due February the 20th.
I am quite nervous and so scared of something happening in these early stages..... I guess it's normal to feel like that right????
We have been trying for a couple of years and this little one will be an ivfling :) I'm with Fertility Associates - sorry to hear some of your experiences have been frustrating. I have really liked them - been so lucky with my nurses!!!
I'm a little nervous as noticed a tiny bit of spotting today.... It really was tiny. I guess I just have to wait it out!!! So frustrating - cant wait for that 6 week scan! I bet lots of you are holding out for it to!!!

Congratulations & welcome Princess B
I have also been very nervous too... and as this is #1 also, still not sure what I should be expecting or doing...
I don't think I have started to feel any symptons as such... apart from eating more, weeing more & feeling slightly tired...
I had what I think is a 6 week scan today, but baby was too small to date, so perhaps my 6 week estimate is not quite right? Plan to go back in a few weeks time

baby's all implant at different times after ovulation and you could have ovulated late Nutmeg :) Yay for getting another early scan!

princess, we're having our early scan at 7weeks so we know we'll see something and there should be a heartbeat. Now I've booked it I wish I'd done it a week earlier! I'm desperate to see my wee bean (and see how many there are, I'm freaking that it might be twins)!

Is it usual to get an early scan? Im 7 weeks, just saw my doctor for the first time yesterday, and he said to get one at about 14 weeks! Thats so far away!

That's what I did, and it still backfired, lol. Granted I went in at exactly 7 weeks... only to be pushed back to 5 weeks, lol. That said, they were at least able to see something and estimate a date, so it could have been worse. Waiting from here til the 12 week scan rather than having another early scan.

In most cases, the 12-13 week scan is the first one available. However, for those who are unsure of their last cycle, or like me who have wonky / uneven cycles they're often used to date the pregnancy - the earlier the scan (after about 5w that is) the more accurate the dates should be - much longer than 12w and other things can influence size so dates are less accurate. However, those with specialists, such as Fertility Associates or OB's usually get more in their care, and often they're offered to mums with previous losses, officially as a "dating scan" but unofficially as a reassurance scan. My own reasons are a bit of both - my dates usually DO get adjusted backwards (annoying, but so far it's proven to be accurate) and after a MC and a stillbirth, the reassurance (particularly seeing a heartbeat) is comforting.

Hello ladies. I have just found out after 3 1/2yrs of infertility that I am finally pregnant :-) We were on the waiting list for IVF ICSI for Jan 2013 because of MFI. By some miracle we managed to get pregnant naturally. BT today confirmed 4.5wks. I have a wonderful 9 yr old Princess from a pervious relationship and a MC 4 yrs ago to DH.
Very nervous given my history but will be reading up on all the posts. Will be 10 yrs between my princess and this baby.

Thanks girls & congratulations Reyna & princess sparkly!!!
Pricesssparkly I know what a long hard road it is that is amazing that it all worked out naturally- amazing xxx I understand that nervousness!!!!
Nutmeg don't worry about not being able to date it - the only reason we can is because of ivf. In the process they know what day they made the embryos put them back etc I think the more scans you can do the better - it must be reassuring!!! At the moment for me they just look at blood work to check the hormones are doubling etc
Matildaandme that would be exciting if it was twins!!!!! Any reason why you have that feeling???
Bubaloo & charmonthefarm if you girls want an early scan push for it with GP/hospital!!! If private is an option grab a referral. Remember this is your experience & is about what makes you comfortable!!!!
Starting to feel a little bit sick in the mornings..... When will everyone announce to family & friends???? Anyone having any symptoms????

Thanks for that Princess B, I never considered going Private, will look into that.
I'm having loads of symptoms, morning sickness is really kicked in hard at the moment, I'm tossing every morning and sometimes in the afternoon, and having trouble sleeping cause my boobs are rather sore. But despite that, I'm happiest I've been in ages!
Have told my best bud, my sister and my in laws but only because I will have to give up farm work and they need to find a replacement! Would rather wait to announce at 12 weeks.

I have told mum and dad and my best friend for support reasons. Leaving it up to my partner to tell his parents but for everybody else we will wait until 12wks and with our sin might leave it till I start showing otherwise we will tell him at 12wks.
Symptoms wise just a bit tired sore boobs feel sick every now and then, starting to get quite hungry and still have slight period pain feeling.
Thanks re dating scan was just going to wait till I see mw as I will be 7wks then and will definetly be able to see something.
