Hi, I'm another newbie to your group, due 1st August with no2, have an adorable 20mth old girl. Have had my 12wk scan, didn't want to join forum until I'd had it due to a miscarriage last year.
Will be great to communicate with you all, can I please have the info to be added to f/b.

Congrats on all the pregancies everyone.
We're meeting with Obstetrician on Monday 28th Jan and a midwife on the 30th. We haven't decided which route we'd like to go down yet, until we meet and weigh up both with their pros & cons. Keeping out options open, let you know what we decide :) Besides the cost of an Obs how did you decide who was going to be your LMC?

Hi everyone, i'm a first time mum to be and also first time forum user. Based on our dates we are due on August 6th but we are having our first scan this Thursday, anxious and very excited. Got some more bleeding last night, not much again, like on the weekend.
But they are going to look into it some more. As it seems brought on by severe vomiting and causes my cervix to prolapse and drop down to the entrance of my vagina.
So I have a scan later and GP has referred me to antenatal unit at hospital, to look into whether I might need a suture put in to my cervix.

Hi all.
We have hand some very bad news at 12 week scan this afternoon. There was no heartbeat and the foetus was too small compared to the gestational sac. Absolutely heart breaking and we feel crushed.
Have appointment with gyno team at hospital tomorrow.

Hi bubsonway,
Please accept the HUGEST hugs from me! I have been in that situation before, there are no words to describe the devastation on what should be one of the most exciting stages of being pregnant. I am not sure on your history whether this is your first or not, but please don't give up, keep trying, you will need time to grieve and make sure you take as much time as you need. Get a small support group around you and take comfort from those who reach out to help you through this. Make sure that hubby/partner is okay as sometimes they can retreat into their own space. Lots of hugs and time together is really important at this time. I had a D&C after my devastating scan and was told that it was a girl who had no chromosome abnormalities. That was hugely encouraging to want to keep trying and despite not being able to carry my own despite trying, it encouraged us and our GS to go down the road we are on now with surrogacy. I wish you all the best and hope you can find some peace soon. Can you buy a cherry blossom or similar to plant in memory? Take care of yourself  |
I am blessed with an amazing gestational surrogate to complete my dream!

Congrats and welcome Gem10 Had a scan yesterday and all is fine with baby. So my body is just being a bit silly it seems. I have a referral to antenatal unit regarding my prolapse I keep getting with my cervix. They will possibly put a ring around it, to avoid it prolapsing.
