Hi everyone, wanted to join you guys, this is my third child and we are due on 15th of august, but i've had 1 early and 1 late baby so really due sometime in late August. We are keeping it secret for as long as possible, I have told 2 people and DH has told no one, so its good to be able to get stuff out. Had my first scan on Monday, too late for the nuchal scan, but it was nice to see that there was an actual baby in there.
Haven't gotten anything sorted out yet, have a busy 6 months coming so don't have time at the moment. But have most of our stuff from the boys.
That sounds crazy escadachic! Huge surprise!
Anyway have 2 boys almost 3 and 4 so have been shattered for the past 10 weeks, thankfully have not had much MS which has been good.
Hoping for a healthy baby and birth, first child was healthy but sucky CS birth and second was brilliant birth and very sick baby in NICU for 3 weeks after birth, so crossing fingers for this time.

Hey guys, well I thought I would come and join in too, we are expecting our 2nd baby on the 20th August! Quite exciting now that we have got over the 1st 13 weeks and hopefully our bumpy start will start to smooth out so I can actually enjoy been pregnant :)
Congrats to everyone that's due in August looks like it will be a busy month. Would love the details for the private and Facebook group if possible

Now I'm past the first 12 weeks I thought I would come and join the Due in August group. I'm due on the 31st August and this will be our second baby. We already have a three year old boy.

Hi all,
I shouldn't actually be here, as I got my dates wrong (now a July baby) but thought I'd hang around.
Has anyone else had any pelvic problems? I'm pretty sure I have SPD and am being referred for a physio appt. At 21w I'm still quite diddy (having just looked at other bump photos from 16w and less!) and concerned that it's only going to get worse as the bump gets bigger.
Anyone had any dealings with this?

Oh congrats on being further along, yay!
Have you had 20 wk scan yet? Did you find out babies sex or having a surprise?
Think I may have some SPD, not sure though. Just get pain in my hip/pelvic area. But getting more pain when I'm trying to sleep at night. Try help that with pillows between my knees.
I have heard you can get support belts to help with the SPD.

I had my scan early (18 weeks) and have a wee baby boy growing :o)
My pain is more at the pubic bone end. I've heard of support belts, but they sound a little disturbing! Will see what the physio says. The pain I get at night is when I roll over - ouch!

It has been great reading all your post and I would love to join the group.

Escadachic - yes please. I'm actually due 12th July now... well ahead of the rest of you ladies!
I've seen my GP this morning and confirmed SPD. Being advised to do 'minimal walking' is hard to take, as it goes against my normal mentality of 'park further away from the shops so you get more steps in'. Will investigate aqua jogging though.
It's quite a depressing condition - you kinda feel like you've been hit in the bits with a cricket ball... bruised bone feeling. Whilst in that (real) situation I could put up with it fine, with this I know it's not going to get better over the next 4 months... probably worse in fact. Went out to get some lunch earlier and it was really painful - just worried that feeling like an invalid rather than a happy, buoyant, pregnant lady will lead to depression :(
Am still waiting on a physio appt, but until then all I have to work with is "rest up, but don't stop exercising, try not to put on too much weight and have Panadol if you need to".
