a.girl I had some blood tests done after my first mc to rule out autoimmune stuff , but will wait to see FA to see if there is any other testing can be done. This is my 16th month trying - got PG the first time after 9 months.

Thanks a.girl - yeah luckily it is only a FET and not another round of IVF, as we still have 8 on ice. Seeing as we are private as well, things tend to happen pretty quickly. Alls I need to be doing at the moment is taking my oestrogen tablets each day and then starting the pessaries in a weeks time and then they bung another embryo in in a couple of weeks. Not that the pessaries or the waiting is any fun haha, but I am still counting my blessings Today I am coming down with a cold and also have an inflamed gum causing me strife. My chickens thought it would be funny to fly over the fence into the neighbours yard, and my DH woke me up very early this morning by messaging me that he had [triumphantly] constructed our new charcoal BBQ in Italy and that he was cooking a herbed chicken thigh... Hoping the weekend gets a little better

Again I am laughing shimma. What we have to put up with while the boys are away. You'll stay in touch from Italy won't you??? You'll need to keep us entertained while negotiating that new culture.

Hcg zero. Onto the next cycle we go. Argh remind me to breathe when it comes to the crunch time please lol. Had a wicked day today despite dumb bloods - grading games for netball, won both so we're on target to make the grade we want. And the sun is shining.
How's everyone else? Auntie how are you love? Shimma when did you say your transfer was?

Hope you're ok HT xx.
Thanks for the hug Agirl :) Am ok about it now. Had my stink day yesterday where I wanted to hide under the duvet, cry and never come out but today is a new day. I'm lucky to be surrounded by amazingly supportive people in real life (and online) who are so positive about it all. Helps me to look at it from a different perspective. How long to your appt now hun?

Hey BC - hope you're ok My next FET will be on 9 May. When do you get to play embryo roulette again? (my new favourite term haha) Urgh. Hate being sick. Caved and went to the doctor today and he recommended a short course of antibiotics (amoxicillin) and reckons it won't affect my manufactured cycle at all, but of course I worry still.......

Not sure as it's au naturale so depends on my body but my prediction is around May 13th. So once again we get to nut out the wait together-ish. Rats about being sick. If you're manufactured that the antibiotics would matter but I'm no doctor. Whatever you do DON'T play the google game! You'll just worry yourself lol.

That's great that you can do a fet so soon again bc :-) hopefully you and shimmer will both graduate at the same time! My apt is Wednesday. I have so many questions burning in my head. Can't wait to get some answers. Though this is only the fertility specialist; the genetic counselor can't come up our way for another month.
Pitterpatter, that's so exciting! !! All the best in the next few weeks. Xxx
I've spent the wknd cuddling two newly hatched bubs. A mix of emotions! I'm so happy to see them healthy and in good loving arms, but man it's hard. I only had two melt downs. That's heaps less than anticipated. Haha.

Thanks mac. One was my sil, who by the way was waiting for cd1 to start her ivf injections but it never came cause she was utd, and the other was dh's bf from childhood, surprise kid number 5 with a 12 year age gap! Better to be a part of these special times than wallow in self pitty. Plenty of time for that later ;-)
