As always. .. thanks for your support :-) we'll know a bit more after tmrws blood test and the scan on Wednesday but I honestly think we're out. The icing on the cake is that I'm still so stinkin sick. Such a cruel journey for all of us in such different ways. My bestie went into labor today too. I wish I could support her more but I have little left emotionally and physically. Sigh.
Hugs to the best virtual support buddies ever! X

Hi eclaire222,
We just started on our second round of ICSI cycle, I'm also doing the short cycle - first ICSI was the long protocol. Got the 1st scan and blood test tomorrow morning. I hope that all is looking on track on your side :)

Rant to follow...
Argh I just want to hold smell kiss cuddle a little newborn thats my own!!!
People around me only have to sneeze and they are utd. I struggle everyday with this inner demon. I resent my family that can get utd by just saying they are going to try. My parents have 12 grandchild with 3 on the way and only one is mine. Mum keeps asking why can everyone else get utd easy but I struggle. Mum knows why but doesnt get it. Bella is at age where she loves little babies and I struggle with that. I am at stage where 'aquiring' would be enough.
Why cant Bella be enough? Why am I struggling
Argh!!

Finally got back on my laptop to reply.. Shimma, GBH to you, I am so sorry this has happened to you. Please take care and stay well x
Miss B and Icecream congrats!
AFM, I am not doing so well. I am feeling increasingly isolated and alone in this journey where no one IRL can really relate or help me get my feelings out and heard.. I had a 36 day cycle on 50mg clomid. I was f***ing ropable. My cycles just get longer and longer on it, I don't think it has ever done anything and actually made my cycles any more likely to get my pregnant. I had discussed injectables at my appt the other month, but when I rang FA about potentially going ahead with that, I HAVE TO HAVE ANOTHER APPT. WTF. So I have a 6 hr round trip, and a consult fee to pay again to look into getting the injections. FFS. I have made an appt with the counsellor. Has anyone found this beneficial? I really need to get my life back and stop thinking about TTC all the time. My mental health is really suffering, (bipolar) and I can't afford to have an episode. My GP was concerned enough when I saw him today, so I really have to get back on track. Thank goodness my husband is home on Thursday night... bleh.
GBH to everyone, this journey is a hard one x

Copy & paste from TWW page sorry.
Morena everyone. Sorry for the long silence - it's been a long wait and there's more to go....
We are pregnant! There's a little 'but' though, my beta (blood test) levels came back low yesterday so we are retesting tomorrow to make sure they have doubled (or preferably quadrupled!).
I tested Sat, (bfn), Sun (faint ghostly bfp), Mon (using a clear blue as the others were cheapies) - bfp but only faint, Tue - cheapie test inconclusive as the control line didn't come up properly and the dye pooled everywhere. Tue (14 dpIUI) the beta is positive.
My progesterone has dropped back from 56.1 to 36.3 so I'm waiting to hear from clinic if they will prescribe progesterone supplements. Luckily my dad is in Auckland staying my dying Gran as otherwise I'd need to drive an hour and a bit down there to pick it up from clinic - whereas I really want to stay put chill axing and thinking positive 'grow baby!' thoughts.
Please let this one be our miracle.
