Storm - Come visit me if you want sunny and warm...... I was driving at 7:50am this morning when the radio announcer cheerfully anounces that it's 28 degrees already!!!! Sunny and no clouds. Urgh, summer is going to SUCK big time.
Serial testing happening here. Did a morning and a pm test today and nicely getting darker. So happy. Link if anyone wants to look, although I completely understand if you don't! http://www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test-gallery/image.php?galleryid=326360
I think I better officially become a lurker now!

Thanks girls. Will probably be Friday before I get the results due to camping out of range. Think it's due to the drugs the reason I got AF something about progesterone I think. It's normal anyway.

Oh NZVeg I would love that! I was in the GC for a while last year and just loved that it was so hot already so early in the morning! I'm totally a rather be hot than cold kind of person lol and don't feel like you have to be a lurker! It's good news like yours that gives us all here hope - so stick around as long as you can! I always wonder how those that have graduated are getting on with their bundles to be Oh BC 2 more sleeps till you hear the news! I really hope it's more good news! Have fun on your camp AFM I'm at the boring waiting for OV stage. CD11 and started OPK's tonight - going by past clomid cycles I should see a progression in the next two days and hopefully a positive at around CD 16 FX!

Those tests are looking good NZ Veggie - I haven't done any since Tuesday, but am saving my last Clear Blue one for tomorrow morning before my bloodtest - to try and take the edge off waiting till the afternoon to hear back that everything is okay - it HAS to be! My boobs are soooore and I am constantly starving, so that all seems good. (Or and irritable - particularly when hungry or tired - so the DW says...carefully and once I am fed!)
Babycrazy & Storm - I'm hoping and hoping that you get your babies soon. xx

Hey team. Am shattered after camp so this'll be quick - 1 embie in the freezer is all we got. Thankful for that as it could have quite easily not been the case.

Quick update on my beta today...
It was all good - phew and yay!
18dpIUI
HCG at 1300, oestrogen at 898, Progesterone at 81.7
Progesterone worried me a bit as it was at 120 on mon. But clinic nurse said as long as it's above 40 it's okay, however since I have pessaries I can use them if I want, more for peace of mind than anything at this stage...but I can't stop till week 9 if I start.
Naturopath said it can fluctuate quite a bit at this table and she's fine with it.
Anyone had any experience - got an opinion...?

PS- after a couple if visits to labtests in Mt Wellington on weekend mornings I was thinking about how surely some of the ladies I see there must be some of you! I also think about how I should invest in a fertility clinic! Seriously, at least 10 or more 'yellow form' ladies each time, and all of us shelling out between $2k - $18k a month... That is some major dosh being spent by us all! It's especially noticeable on the weekend as we all need to have our bloods done at the same place and by a certain time. Have you noticed and done the math?!

Great news Pepi and good idea about the investing :-)
AFM looks like AF is on its way so thats it for me. This was our 2nd publically funded ivf cycle and we cant afford to pay for one so we are done. BT on monday and I am still trying to pretend it might be something else for now.
good luck to all of you and I hope you all get a bubba to take home soon.
take care

Oh Lesley I'm so sorry hun. I can empathise with how you're feeling as I'm in possibly a similar place right now. Always here if you need us hey.
Pepi - I was thinking that last cycle when I had to go to Wellington for scans etc that possibly I may know ppl from ob. In terms of progesterone with mine it hovered around that 80 mark too and nurse said it was ok. However I would be doing anything to help given your history. I know I'll be pushing for it if I'm lucky enough to have my one embie stick.
Feeling a bit emotional this morning. Going to a housewarming / bday/ wet the head party at a good friends and just heard that the only other mate without children (ie who will have a wine with me!) isn't going :( i don't mean that to offend those with chn it's just that other than her there's one other who may have a drink (but has kids to worry about) but the rest are pregnant or feeding. And I realise it's not about drinking however having a couple with my friends is what I need right now and it's becoming starkly obvious that our lives are different more and more. Don't get me wrong these girls are amazingly supportive. Just sucks being the girl who can't get utd!! And then....lol......I keep thinking about what if the embie doesn't work then what? Dh asks that question and I just can't even go there.

Big hugs Lesley, I'm so sorry you think AF is arriving. I'll still hope that it's something else and we still hear some good news from you. BC don't apologise for the debbie downer post, I think we all need them at times. I had a bit of a breakdown to DH the other night I have just been feeling a lot more depressed about it all than I had realised, and we had a big talk and I just cried and cried! It's amazing what can come out of just having a big talk! So I for one, am always here to listen when needed I will have everything super crossed hard that this one embie of yours is your ONE! On the flipside, Pepi that is just fantastic news that all is looking great! NZVeg, how are you doing hun? Tested anymore? How is everyone else? We haven't heard from a few lately, Epic, Rachfizz, Mushroom, Ice-cream. Hope all is going well with everyone. I hope Shimma is going ok. And our graduates….. MrsI? Love and hugs to everyone

Hi to everyone.
Congrats Pepi and NZVeggie, hope it all goes well. Sorry about feeling like AF is coming Lesley, like Storm said, hope it isn't and you get some good news on monday. BC we all those downer moments, hope your feeling better now.
Update for me: had an eventful follow up appointment on wednesday, clomid didn't work, progesterone came back at 1. Drs are referring me to Dunedin which I'm not looking forward to. Have also got 3 rounds of 100mg clomid to see if a higher dose works and see them again in 3 months. Have also been referred for an HSG so am in the process of organising that. Hubby has to do another semen test as the last one he did was in 2011. As usual asked a million questions, the doctor i saw was nice but a different one to last time and the time before that.
Baby dust to everyone

Oh Lesley I'm sorry it didn't work for you this time either I hope fostering works out for you xx BC I totally understand how you feel with your friends, I'm in the same place right now. I spent all day yesterday withthem and came home in just a really sad mood, I'm over being the left out one. What's weird is that since two of them got UTD a week apart they have just stopped asking what's going on with me TTC, I don't know if they feel awkward raising it or if they don'twant to think about negative stuff or what it is. But they don't know that our IVF date has changed or that I need the surgery or anything! FA is apparently taking over down here early next year which means our IVF in Feb is going to cost more. Plus the hospital has lost my surgery booking form and my specialist is on leave so I'm stuck waiting for next month to try and sort a date so things are very much in limbo which I hate. So bit of a downer from me too sorry! Storm sorry you're a bit depressed at the moment too, it's not easy to snap out of is it? Pepi and Veggie, stoked for you girls though!! Hope you're both feeling ok and your babies are growing well xx

Storm - Thanks for asking after me. I just happened to drop in today. I was worried about posting as I don't want to upset anyone I had a little girl 20/08/14 and she is gorgeous. I am so happy and so hope that you all get UTD very soon as I still remember all too well how heartbreaking the wanting and waiting is, so much so I am crying thinking of the hurt we had to go through and the scary thought of having to do it all again when we are ready to try for the next one I really really wish all of you the very best and hope that you all get your beautiful babies soon Much love too all xxxxx

Wow MrsI congratulations on your little girl! I can't believe your pregnancy has come and gone! I can totally understand that you would be a little scared when trying for your next one. Enjoy your little girl Hugs to you ladies with all your pregnant friends - I don't have any UTD at them moment… but most of them have just gone on to have their 2nd, so there was a time there where I had heaps of them pregnant, and I know it is not easy having to spend time with them when you're hurting so much. Epic thanks, I have good days and bad days with feeling so down. Will mention it to my Dr this week. And gosh aren't hospitals useless sometimes! I can't believe they lost your paperwork - limbo is horrible! Hopefully you get a date real soon! Anna gutted Clomid didn't work! Apart from the progesterone level did they give you any indication on how many, if any follicles were growing with the clomid? Hopefully a higher dosage works for you. I have a question for you ladies - I'm due for a smear test with the Docto, but wonder if it matters when in my cycle I go? I am looking at making the appointment for either Tuesday or Thursday this week, which will be either just on OV or right after - do you think it matters? I'm still waiting on my +ve OPK, CD15 today, which is when I got my positive last month but doesn't look like it's going to be as early this time Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.
