Hi lovlies.

Soda and Charlie, Yup I have tried acupuncture and was with a naturopath for quite a while. During which I got pregnant but same story with them not sticking. Think next move is def RPL clinic. FA never took my losses seriously cause they were all chemical pregnancies, and "I wouldn't have known had I not tested early" ! SO hopefully the clinic will take it seriously even though they are CP's each time. I'll contact them today :)

Soda sorry for AF about to show. But you sound like you are in a great place with it all at the moment so that's fantastic.

BC any idea yet when you may get your transfer? This year at least?

Good on you Storm.

Soda sorry about the spotting but you really seem on a good buzz at the moment which is awesome.

No idea about FET at this stage. My review is 14th Nov where we'll make a plan. I'm hoping my next cycle but after my first ivf he made me wait 2 cycles before transfer and my next will be the 2nd post ivf. So with xmas that'll mean my January one. However I'm just going to ring with day one (which is within the week) just in case. They've already had us fill in the forms so we're good to go whenever. I'd quite like to just know what the verdict is either way before xmas so I know what I'm facing next year.

On another note - off on a long weekend tomorrow with my netball team to watch fast five....excited much lol.

Just joined because I don't know anyone else doing IVF at the moment and could use a little sisterly solidarity :)

My story:
TTC since Dec 2011, I'm 32 so we have some time up our sleeves.
5 x unsuccessful IUI plus 3 x IUI cancelled due to overresponse... I've seen a lot of needles this year!
Doing our first round of IVF at Fert+ (private) and feeling pretty hopeful since success rates for unexplained infertility seem to be pretty high.

I've done about a week of Buserelin downreg injections so far and probably starting stimulation phase mid next week. Have been feeling ok so far but not looking forward to stim as I've heard emotionally it's like PMS on steroids lol

So that's me, just wanted to say hello!

Welcome Delphie. Hope this cycle goes well. Heaps of ivf veterans here (unfortunately) so any questions fire away. I found stims from my 2nd cycle rather intense - emotions on speed lol. Hope you're not as bad!

Hi ladies, I have just started posting in the charting ladies and 2 week wait groups.  Would love to join for some support.
A little about me, started TTC in 2006.  In 2007 we saw specialist and started the process of ICSI IVF.  First round unsuccessful and in the second we struck it lucky with our last embie and had our beautiful daughter in December 2009.  We started trying again off and on since 2012.  I had Endo removed three months ago and have an appointment with FA this December to discuss our options as I will need to have a merina next year to prevent endo coming back, so we have limited time to TTC before then.

Delphie all the best with your round of IVF! Smile

Welcome Kazper and Delphie! I'm sorry that your journeys haven't been easy ones. Hopefully your time in this forum will be nice and short :-)

Storm, I don't know much about the recurrent mc clinic in Auckland, but they have an attempt at one up here. I found it utterly useless and depressing. They made an apt for me even though I said I was seeing a specialist in Auckland, I drove and hour to the apt, then he just told me that they have no advice for me and think I probably have done everything with the clinic already. Grrr. I found the doc so insensitive. I'm just going to stick with Repromed. have you had a second opinion yet? I asked my doc about why we have lost every baby at exactly 50dpo and he just shrugged. I would think they'd look into that a bit more, too.

Hi HT, thanks can't believe how much I love her and of course I think she is the most beautiful baby in the world
We named her Inara, it means 'ray of light, heaven sent' which we thought was very appropriate given the hard road to have her

Hi All. Can I jump in??
Quick story. been trying for our second baby for almost 2 years this december! Have an almost 4 year old who also took a while to get, but lucky to have him. Have regular periods but very short only 2 days - fertility doc thinks not an issue??? I beg to differ, but thats just me. Had HSG all good, hubby all good and currently on Clomid second cycle.
Thinking of doing accupunture but not sure?? any one had any done????

Hes finally here :-)

Hi Greenstone... My periods are similar to yours quite short but my doc also said that has nothing to do with why we haven't yet had a baby. We have been doing weekly acupuncture for the past year and I really enjoy it. I also feel it has made a big difference in the quality of our eggs during our latest IVF cycle - so I would recommend giving it a go if you can afford it! Good luck xx

Gutted for you soda! Hugs hun.

Greenstone - are your AF light or heavy in those two days? I would've thought if light that your lining could be an issue but I'm no expert.

AFM - still at the netball and having a ball!!!! So much fun - the party of my life lol. Great distraction from life but whoa I'm gonna need a detox haha. After this though I'm back to making my body good for having a baby.
