Yay BC that is the best news!!! Absolutely thrilled for you x I had my blood test today and it was a BFN. I'm doing ok though as had expected as much -AF has been visibly on her way the past couple of days and I did a cheeky HPT last night when hubby was home ashe's away for work today/tonight. We have 2 frosties so still a couple of chances My clinic told me I'll have to wait til feb though as apparently the nurses there are on holiday from 24 dec-18 Jan and they won't let me start until I have a day 1 when they're back. Oh well, on the bright side - I can have a few wines over the summer! (Handy when I'm heading to Central Otago, lol)

Oh hugs star I'm sorry it was a bfn for you this time. Sounds like you're in a good space though. A few wines over the summer will be nice after all the full on 'ness' of IVF.
Craftea - good luck for your scan tomorrow.
Thanks for the love girls. I'm so glad I got scanned by my specialist rather than some random lady at the ultrasound clinic. He was lovely. Like super lovely and as excited as I was when we saw the heartbeat and even made me take a picture on my phone (his machine was too old to print pictures lol). And when I left he even gave me a hug. JMM - you wouldn't believe how nervous I was at mine like I was pretty much in tears sitting on the table before he scanned me. That's why it was good to have him because he understood what this meant and how long the journey had been. Wishing you all the luck in the world tomorrow.
And I'll stop ranting on now....

Hehe thanks Storm 😘
Craftea I had it in palmy. He does clinics in palmy and wanganui. Used to do Wellington too but not any more.
Moon all I've heard about Hamilton is that their waiting list is long for public but it's like that everywhere.

Yea the waiting list when we first got assessed was almost 2 years, making it March 2017, but it's already been brought forward to November 2016. We're very fortunate to have family help to do a private cycle next month.

Moon*glow , I went through Hamilton FA because I'm in the Waikato, the nurses are super nice and they always seem to be into it. Had a few times communication lacked but they look after you well and everything is done on time etc.
We had public funding which when we first started nearly two years ago we got in at the right time and only had a wait of 4 months. Did a few cycles of clomid then had our funding put on hold for 9 months before we went back straight back into it. If we had waited another month we would of lost it and had a 18month wait to get it again. If you pay privately it's def faster but not actually that much.
Massive hugs star!! Xx

Scan done, 12 or so measurable follies plus a bunch of tiny ones, looks like trigger might be tomorrow! I just had to do my morning jab in the car, don't normally do it sitting down. When I took the needle out some of the drug came back out! Might ring the nurse when I get home cos I'm a bit worried that not enough went in, eek

Craftea - I always did my jabs sitting down, and unless I waited about 10 seconds before withdrawing the needle, there was often a drop or so that came back out so I wouldn't worry.
Exciting that you're nearly done with jabs!

I did wait 10secs after, I always do that too. It was a bit more than a drop tho, more like the size of 1/2 my pinkie nail.
Yes glad to be nearly done!

I always had some come out of my jabs to, sometimes it felt like a lot but was told as long as you held it for 10 secs you should still get your allocated dose

Great news Craftea!
Quick question - it's day 7 of my cycle and I'm on oestrogen for an fet on 21 Dec so more than 2 weeks away. I can't get hold of the nurses but do you think a glass of wine at our Christmas party this arvo is ok? Feeling very tempted!

Thanks :)
As far as I understand Amie you can pretty much have wine up until transfer day depending on how you feel - I always found I got swollen ankles with on the progynova if I had a glass of wine (or too much sugar). Its christmas after all ;)
