Kiwi, 8 eggs is a good result!!

Apparently, my DH can make other people do things in the way he wants them to do - so we've signed Fert Cover and paid horrible amount of money today morning. Now waiting for AF to arrive

Kiwi that's great you got 8! Fingers crossed for more good news with fertilisation. Hope you are feeling ok after it.

HT awesome your doctor is so great and letting you do unmonitored! How long will you do that for?

The nurse called me today - and I'm really happy with her, she is the nurse on the North Shore clinic and is just so lovely to talk to! My doc is putting me on the same plan as last time so just manufactured cycle starting estrogen on day one - and she suggested I meet with him and chat to him about the questions I have so will see him next week.
I think I'm going to go see my GP hopefully before then too, cause ever since a few days after transfer I've been getting these tummy aches and "runny tummy" business! So think I will check that out - and maybe ask her a few questions too

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Angela is lovely :-) Are you with Sunil or Richard Storm?

I'm not sure how many cycles I will do Storm... I have a lot of weight to lose and we are most likely running out of cycle time due to my advanced maternal age. I don't know how my AMH is holding up, so if we manage to ike out another 15k for another round, it will need to be checked (At the beginning of last year it was above the green zone and doc said I had plenty of eggs left).  My grandmother had my Mum naturally (an afterthought) at 43 so I might have a few years to menapause?  Whether the eggs are any good though, who knows.
Is it wrong to secretly hope that the current cycle somehow has produced a miracle? I'm 14dpo tomorrow but LP will be 16-18 days long so I'm planning to just ride it out. If I get to 20dpo I might test ;-)
Ever since I ovulated this cycle I haven't shifted any weight whatsoever. Super frustrating but my measurements are still getting smaller so hopefully this just means that I have a lot of lovely fluid and blood in circulation.

Did you hear anything today about your Embies Kiwi?

How are you Moonglow?

Mushroom, how are you?

Lots of love BC... hope you are thriving xx
a.girl what are you up to?

HT - super stoked you get to do your cycles. Thanks for the love. Definitely doing well at the moment.
Storm - great idea to meet with your specialist and doctor by the sounds of those tummy issues. Are you happy with sticking with status quo again?

Hate watching everyone toil away with heartache. I wish and hope all the time that everyone will get their happy moment in the sun xx

Hi everyone, am i able to join you ladies? Dont feel like i belong in the TWW thread.

Im 27 with a lovely 5 year old daughter, i stopped the depo injection 2 years ago now, periods returned over a year ago but have been irregular 29-48 day cycles. Currently going through some tests with my GP and then a referral to fertility specialists. Its been a hard journey recently getting me down as 3 of my best friends are pregnant and due soon + several work colleagues and as much as im happy for them i cant help but get really upset when discussions around babies or pregnancy are brought up (which feels like thats every conversation lately). I haven't really many people and constantly get the question about when we are having another child..

Did everyone go through there GP or did you go private to the fertility specialists?

Hi Lollipop, welcome to the thread. I'm sorry it's been a rough road for you so far, and we can all here can totally relate! You'll find a wealth of knowledge and support from some fantastic ladies on here!
All of our experiences here are different but also probably very similar - I for one, went through specialists privately after 3 early losses and a year of trying for #2 and I just called them up and made an appointment. It's quicker but more expensive that way, and publicly through GP's referral I believe there can be some wait? But no cost? (those gon publically can confirm here as I'm not too sure)
Best of luck with everything!

HT I am with Richard and no it's not at all wrong to hope for the miracle you so desperately want! I'll be waiting in anticipation for your test day

BC I'm not really sure what else there is I can do apart from what I did this last cycle but guess we'll see what the doc says next week. I'm going to talk to him about the bloods I have done already and if there is anything else we could be looking at - seeing my GP tomorrow so might pick her brain on it too until then, when AF arrives I will just start the estrogen anyway as I'll only be a few days into it when I see FA. I just wish AF would hurry up and get going! (p.s. BC I love seeing your ticker! and just can't believe you're 18 weeks already! Not long to go till you find out the flavour eeeeeek)

Kiwi hope you get some good fertilisation news today

Mushroom how are you doing? When is your first scan?

Hi Lollipop
Welcome, we are sorry that your TTC journey hasn't been smooth sailing. I have 20+ years of issues with girl parts so have been bouncing around specialists and GP's since puberty. Make sure you are tracking your cycle and write it down, the specialist will want to see your data. Get a referral from the GP and get onto the pathway... one thing that is an underylying factor is that you only get so many cycles in your life so it is better to get sorted sooner when your chances of conception are better. The longer you take, the less time you have to achieve a healthy baby :-)
It has nearly been five years since my last baby ( one or two early miscarriages in between), I am now in early 40's.

He keeps telling me to get stuff but I keep thinking/ hoping there's no point I may not fit it soon. I'm the tight one with money hubby the spender so today will be fun! Got call from clinic and 5 have fertilised out of the 8. We are going for a 5 day transfer so hopefully a couple will hang on to Monday. All the best everyone. Right off to shop and find somewhere to stay for weekend as Christchurch is all booked out! We may head out of town for two days, any suggestions? Akaroa booked out.

Thanks everyone for the welcome Glad to have somewhere to talk/vent. The husband can only take so much! lol

Thanks heavenly talker, i will get onto that referral through my GP, otherwise i might pay for a private consult. CD 1 for me today so off to get my blood test tomorrow to see what is going on hopefully. Husband is getting his sperm checked too. I was very naive prior to trying for #2 thought we would start trying and it would happen reasonably quick, wow was i wrong! DD was conceived whilst on contraception so no planning was put into that so i didnt have much knowledge around TTC.

Sorry it will take me awhile to catch onto all the fertility talk/treatments of everyone here. Hope there's lots of baby dust for 2016 in this group!

Welcome Lollipop. I paid for a private consult first about 3 years ago because I didn't want to wait in the system. I'm glad I did becauses it got the ball rolling and saved heaps of time. Good luck to you!

Kiwi, great news on the EC.   Any fert updates????

Garcat, how are you getting on? Any more tests or anything? I hope all is well. Xx

Storm, great to hear that you have a follow up apt. I REALLY hope they can offer you a solution rather than going down the same road again.

HT, good luck with the unmonitored cycle!!! Any signs of AF today?

Hi to everyone else!!

I'm about a week into down reg injections. We'll do a BT next week to see if I'm sufficiently suppressed and then hopefully start the estrogen for the FET next weekend. But we aren't counting on much other than something not going as we expect it to!!!

Oops... That last post makes it sound like my FET is next weekend. I just meant we'd start the estrogen next weekend :-)

Well it's all over for me :( I have miscarried at 5.5 weeks. I am so sad as my HCG was doing so well and got up to 480 within the first week but has since dropped to 320 so I have been told to stop the progesterone. I was so excited as this is the first pregnancy in over 3 years that hasn't been a chemical pregnancy so I really felt hopeful about this one. This was our last chance as well so it's time to move on from this journey. At 41 I feel like I am getting too old for this after 6 years of TTC for number 2.
I wish you all the very best with your TTC journey and I hope you will get your rainbow baby soon. I will log in from time to time to see how you are getting on and I am looking forward to seeing more BFPs. I am having a glass of wine as I am know a course up in Auckland for 3 days and it's a but lonely in the hotel room and I have 3 nights of this. Luckily I am right next to Sylvia Park so did some retail therapy earlier.
Welcome lollipop :)
