Morning ladies. Super quiet in here. How is everyone doing? Sweetpea how was your trigger? What time are you set for EC tomorrow? Seems a few of us are in the sitting and waiting game for now? The next month or so might be quite full on! I have FA appointment this Wednesday, and I was just thinking I wonder when my blood results will come back - I did them over a week ago now. I am signed on to manage my health online through my GP's office, so everytime she gets copy of results and loads it in there, I can see so am waiting for that! Hope everyone is going ok, Mushroom haven't heard how you're getting on for a while. Hope you've managed to have your lap done by now

Good luck for Wednesday Storm. Hopefully you get your blood results back today :)
I hope tomorrow goes nice and smoothly Sweetpea!
As for me, we've had a wee bit of a rough time for the last two weeks. My brother in law and his wife announced they are expecting two weeks ago (think i mentioned it) and the whole family are very excited, don't get me wrong it is awesome news, but every conversation revolves around the pregnancy, which i'm sure you guys will understand it is a bit hard to hear about it allll the time. We had a pick me up and nice happy day yesterday when we picked up our new little golden retriever puppy!
Hope you all have a great Monday! :)

Storm, trigger was fine but i am feeling it today very much do not want to be at work. But need tomorrow off so need to tough it out. feeling very swollen. EC is at 10.15 tomorrow. Katie, that doesn't get any easier. I still feel it now and think i always will until it is our time to have one. Being the one waiting and wanting a baby is very hard and people do not understand it until they have been through it. Completely understand! Yay for the puppy, whats it's name?

Hang in there Sweetpea, less than 24hrs to go!
No she has no clue, which is sad as she was around when my husband had his brain tumour when he was younger and knows the full story about how hard it is going to be but she's a dramatic and selfish person so she hardly ever worries about anyone else.... its going to be a long 7 or whatever months that's for sure! Let's see how good my patience can be haha!
Our puppy's name is Bentley, he's such a handsome wee ball of fluff!
Hope the injections go well for you AA :)

Thanks Katie. No results yet, so now I'm just waiting waiting. Not sure if I should even call the clinic maybe? Or be cheeky and email Neil lol he gave me his email address to request his research on the lipidol, which I haven't done yet, so maybe I'll email for that and throw in a line on the bloods too hehehe That's hard that she is very all about herself. It's never easy whether it's family or friends, you just hope those in the know are a little aware of how you might feel about it all. Super exciting you got a puppy!!And love his name Oh sweetpea take care, and go easy on yourself. When you're all pumped up and ovaries are just wanting to burst, you really need to. Past half the day now so rest up when you get home. Best of luck tomorrow! We'll be waiting for your update Auntie yaye for day 1! The only day 1's anyone is ever excited about is those that are the start of a cycling month

Aww cute Katie! I love puppies! I want a kitten to fill my house and for my son who is four but our landlord is a dick and wont let us have one, might just have to sneak one in As for your sister in law, i hate people like this! Normally i keep my distance and stay away, a bit hard with her being family though. Maybe one of the other girls can help with this one.

Nothing worse than waiting for results Storm. Haha i would be cheeky and email Neil :)
Hubby's sister is pretty good, she seems to understand how we feel about it. We have a family dinner tomorrow night which won't be much fun! Staying away from her hasn't worked so far haha, i don't usually have much to do with her at all but since they have told us, they keep coming around home.. and no doubt you can all guess where she takes conversation goes.
Thanks ladies! Oh stink about your landlord sweetpea! Pets are awesome, we now have two cats and a puppy haha!

Hey everyone - long time no post! Have been taking a break.
Sorry a.girl about not having any embies :( That sucks so bad. I do know embyro adoption is a thing in NZ, though no idea how many are available/adopted each year. I do know that the person donating them can only donate them to one person.
Good luck for egg collection tomorrow Sweetpea. Hope they get lots of nice ripe eggs from you!
Katie - we got our golden puppy last year! Aren't they the best? I am glad ours isn't a baby any more though - it's wonderful once they stop trying to chew everything, fully toilet trained, etc, etc! Plus, going for walks is fun :)
*waves* to everyone else - sorry, haven't caught up on everything properly (not trying to snub you!).
Well, still waiting for my lap. My specialist is having the school holidays off, so that has delayed things a bit. Have it booked for Monday 25th July, so two more weeks! Hoping he can find lots to fix in there :) We've also bought a new house! Going to be a real fresh start for us - just a 3 bedroom, single story brick and tile. Which should be pretty perfect for our family of 3 :)

Katie. Yay for a puppy!! We want one but our house is not fully fenced at the moment. Sorry to hear about your sister in laws pregnancy. I dread the day of my sister in laws gets pregnant. She sounds exactly the same as yours. I totally know how you are feeling and I don't think it gets any easier unfortunately . I am wanting to catch up with some teaching friends this holiday but think one might be pregnant so want to keep away, protect myself.

Welcome back Mushroom! It's nice to take a break sometimes so I hope it's done wonders for your mind. Gosh you certainly have had to wait for your lap! Congrats on the new house, you're going to have lots to keep your mind occupied.
HT welcome back to the land of technology for you too!
Auntie did you manage to call FA yet? I've never had AF start then trail off like that so can't help sorry. But I hope it sorts itself out for you, hoe frustrating!

Hi lovelies.
Wrote this lovely long post full of wisdom then got interrupted by a visitor and now it's lost. Sorry again I've been slack, just reading along and not getting a chance to comment.
I won't try cover everyone but know I'm cheering you on. Dumb as it is that we're all going through this I'm thankful we have a large group of girls to support each other and provide advice. Never easy finding out yet again someone else is pregnant. Especially those who are closest to us. I have no magic formula to help get through it. Sitting through family events hearing nothing but baby talk (or catch up's with friends) is blimming hard. Although having been on both sides of the fence, when you're so excited to be utd it's hard to put a lid on it. I just try to grin and get through it and have my moment later on when no one's looking. When I'm feeling strong enough I will sometimes speak out and try to create awareness. I find people knowing our struggle makes it that tiny bit easy to function.
Anywho....currently visiting my family for a wee holiday. Caught up with brother, SIL and nephew for lunch on Sunday. Was very nice. The nephew is 3 and at an engaging age. Mum goes to look after him Tuesday and Wednesday mornings but I dodged doing that today, although it I expect my brother expected that I would've gone with. I just said to my dad (who totally got it)....I love my nephew but I'm on holiday, I spend 5 days a week getting up early to look after other peoples children (loosely speaking) and I just wanna chill. Plus I'm busy trying to get some computer work done.
Much love to you all girls. Kia kaha and keep your heads up while you go through treatments and deal with the journey. Remember to find the good things in your lives to help you balance out the tough stuff. xxx

Oooh Sweetpea that's a good number. Bummer they won't transfer. I've had that happen twice....frustrating to say the least but I know how you'll be feeling physically and the last thing you'll probably want is a transfer!
Yeah Storm nice to just be at home with my parents and not have to worry about keeping my own house functioning lol.

Wow Sweetpea that is a great number. It is a shame they won't transfer but if you feel like I did after egg collection it might not be a bad thing. Take care

That's a great number Sweetpea, hopefully you will have heaps to freeze! Did anyone watch the second Inconceivable episode last night? Last week's episode I found quite amusing, but last night's I actually felt really sad, bloody emotions. I am hoping my wider family are watching it, and really get to understand how truly difficult the whole process and experience is.
No news at my end, I just check in a few times per week to read all of your posts and keep up to date.
Happy Wednesday ya'll.
