Hi everyone xxx
I just wanted to ask you a question on behalf of a friend! She had her blood test today as had an embryo implanted last Tuesday it came back with hcg of 30 but they weren't happy with that they were hoping it would be around 50! I thought 30 would have been fantastic - can anyone explain it to me ?

Eek sweet pea - rest up Hun xx
Anthea the clinic likes it to be over 50 - dunno why. Guess because they've had so much control over when the embryo is put back and they know exactly how old it is they expect hcg to be at a certainly level by the time they test. Although it's all about doubling so if your friends bloods double at her next test then there's all the reason for it to work. Someone on here had a low number after Ivf, it doubled and she was all good (I think).

Mine was 19, but test was very two days early due to heavy bleeding, then 25 on what would have been test day so not Not Pregnant but not very pregnant either! That pregnant us now an 18 month old rat bag... :)
Rest up sweet pea. I once nursed someone with full blown OHSS, not pretty (and thankfully very uncommon these days

Hi all. Long time no see. Have just popped in to ask a question regarding the progesterone pessaries. Is anyone able to tell me what dose they are? And how many you use? I can't remember how many I used last time and my GP apparently never got a letter from the specialist.

Hi Sweetpea. I'm good, first scan on Wednesday. I have to say it doesn't feel at all real this time, I'm just kind of going through the motions. Having an 18 month old around makes me feel like I have leaked braincells and I have checked and double and quadruple checked everything because I'm terrified I have forgotten or misheard something!
Fingers crossed for the embie news tomorrow.
Eeeee BC!!!
How are you doing Star?

Morning ladies. Hope everyone had a nice weekend. I had a few bubbles on Sat night with a girlfriend... long overdue, and I am now a couple of cycles away from a transfer, I just didn't think about it at all, and really enjoyed it! BC eeek I'm excited for you! You are 1 day behind me for AF so will probably be one cycle behind you for my transfer Sweetpea looking forward to hearing how your embies have been going over the weekend! So something interesting, my sister is TTC aswell, has been for about 3 years. She is older and is about to start IVF (su**ks for us - our mother was fertile mertile!) and she has actually now had 2 chemicals, that she knows of, with the exact same thing happening that does to me. I'm really wondering if there will turn out to be a link here.....
|
TTC #2 6+ yrs. Multiple chemical losses, 4 IVF rounds, multiple FET's. Fingers still crossed for a miracle to come our way

AA, i know what you mean. I was the same with my 4 year old it's not the best feeling. Glad you have a scan soon it will be good to see how things are going. Storm, WOW that's amazing and interesting that you too are so much like in that area of things. My sis is complete opposite to me, easy to conceive (jealous!) Still waiting on the phone call, I hate waiting for the phone to ring! Takes forever!!!!!
