Thanks Dove. Just knitting a blanket. Currently bassinet sized but I'm adding to it. DH told me it won't be useful for very long the size it is lol. I'll just keep doing squares and if a baby doesn't come along then I'll make it big enough for us.

Sounds like a great idea BC! And yaye for AF hopefully only being a couple weeks away. How are you feeling about it all? Or are you not trying to think about it.

Dove yes the digital ones are super expensive!

Sweetpea that's great you're appointment is this week. Fingers crossed they do go into a transfer cycle next cycle.

Auntie how are you holding up being PUPO? When is your blood test?

Not much yet to report from me. I'm well over winter LOL My DD loved the hail yesterday. It covered quite a bit of our deck and I let her go out and pick some of it up, was fun for her
Two days at work this week with lap etc on Wednesday. I have to be at the hospital at 11.30am with the surgery booked for 1pm - an hour and a half of prep sounds scary!

Only the clipper part and you won't have to do that storm (lol). Pre-warned and all that ;-)
Oh forgot to say, take all your jewelry off and leave it at home. Also make sure any nail polish is off... I always have my toes painted with a bright and then glitter so it is a major pain to get off. Hubby is right tired of trying to scrub it off during prep time :-()

TTC our 3rd child 5+ yrs. Self-funding. Over 55 medicated cycles. 3 m/c's iuis, ivf with ICSI fresh BFN, 1 FET BFN. PCOS horrible. Endo and adhesions from c-sects resected. DH few wrigglers. FAITH!

Lol Storm - more like 1.5hrs of sitting round twiddling thumbs while they get themselves ready haha. Well that's my experience with surgery anyway. All the best though. I'm sure it will go smoothly.

To be fair haven't given the IVF too much thought just yet other than potential days to work around for work. Then I decided to not bother worrying until I actually got AF so had concrete times to work towards. Pretty much just doing through the motions for now. Work is real busy (isn't it always?) so a good distraction.

Haha HT! Have fully noted the clipper part Will get onto my nail polish removal tonight then! Wedding rings will need some soap lol they don't come off easily anymore haha

BC that is so true! Will just make me sit there and build up my nerves for 1.5 hours!
Actually probably is a good thing you haven't given it too much thought BC. We all know how too much of that can drive us insane! Good that you're busy at work!

Mushroom if you're lurking - how are you recovering, now a week after your lap?

Good luck Storm and Sweetpea for tomorrow and AA for Sunday!

AFM thought my AF would be due tomorrow and have been looking forward to it so I can ring FA to book my scan and do my day 3 bloods all ready for treatment ... However no sign of her! Usually get spotting 2-3 days before. The past couple of months I've been spot on with knowing when I ovulated by the pain I get and AF shows up 14 days later but maybe I was wrong this cycle and it's not due for a few more days yet which would be typical considering its one time I want it to arrive!
Another part of me foolishly hopes a miracle has happened and we have conceived naturally but I know the chances of that are slim to none!

Edited: also have had 2 sessions of acupuncture this cycle so wonder if that has changed things for me in the way of my cycle

Eep, I haven't been on for awhile, just processing and trying to catch up on the past week. So much has been going on for so many of you!

Mushroom, your experience sounds pretty scary. I started to bleed before my scan and my husband has been called away with work so I'm going the natural route at the moment. Fingers crossed no complications (so far all good!!)

Hi ladies, so had appointment today and it went well. I’m glad to hear that the hard part is over but it’s the waiting that is the next thing to do (Oh the joy of this waiting game!) So we will put an embie in next month with a manufactured cycle. We have decided to keep this between me and DH for now as I won’t be able to handle the whole family if it doesn’t work. We will tell them but after it has failed if that happens. My family is very close and we all know each other’s business this is one thing I would like private, for now anyway and if it works at least we could surprise them with the news. I must say a feel a lot better after the appointment and where we are at.

Hope all is going well for you Storm!

Hi all, sorry to bust in after such a long absence with a question - we've just finished ivf#2 which was a bfp last Monday hcg 123, on Friday it was 318, Sunday 455 and Tuesday 663. I've been told it is not viable but to stay on the meds. Next bt is Fri. Does anyone know what happens from here and how long it will take to miscarry? If it is not viable I just want it over. We were lucky enough to get 4 frosties so with only 5 eggs it was a good result and trying to focus on the positive. Really nervous though as this is my second miscarriage last time we had a mmc and found out at 11 weeks.

Hope you're all doing well x

Hi Aime
First of all congrats on a successful second round of IVF and for the BFP. Yay! things are hopeful! I am very sorry to hear that your pregnancy isn't looking like it will progress, this must be a very stressful time for you and your partner. The clinic will keep monitoring your bloods until there is a clear indication that hormone levels are going down. It well may be you can finish your pregnancy naturally or that when the levels are where they want them to be, they help that process along.

Ah, big hugs and keep in touch with how you are going. Sorry I'm not much help, my miscarriages haven't been under specialist care but one of the girls on the forum will be able to share their own experience. xx

Huge hugs Amie. So glad you got a BFP but sad to hear they think it's not progressing. I think they'll pretty much monitor as HT said until your levels are back to 0.
Glass half full is that you have embies to fall back on but I know that doesn't mean much right at the minute with what you're going through.

Storm I hope today went ok. Sweetpea great to hear your appt went well.
How's everyone else?
A puddle of stress here - DH has been thrown a health curveball which we don't know the extent of yet (heart issue). He seems pretty relaxed about it but man I'm doing myself inside out worrying. Anyway that's me. Trying to keep my head above the waves :)

Sorry Amie to hear things aren't going the way you want.

BC I so sorry your hubby is not well. That is something that you guys need right now. I hate it when men keep everything inside. Sometimes you want to slap them to tell you what they are feeling. I'm sure he is feeling to worry too. Hope things get better very soon!
