BC, they generally do test for thyroid, would be called TSH or T4. I know my DH just had it retested. Might you get a snow day on Monday???
ADN glad things are doing OK. As you say, it's the little things.
BT tomorrow, am refusing to think one way or another, though I know I'm not remotely prepared for a negative

Auntie hoping for positive results today!! Best of luck.
BC man glad DH is doing ok for now. Hopefully you get an appointment super soon and get some things sorted. Your AF must not be far off for next IVF??
Rach good luck for your test results!
Mushroom glad you're healing ok, apart from a couple of your incision areas. Good that you can do most daily stuff though!
I'm recovery pretty good - guess it's due to just the two incisions and no removing of anything on the inside. I can pretty much do normal things now although the dressing over my belly button makes sitting a little difficult and I find if I'm up doing things too long without a rest my pelvic area starts to ache. Follow up appt Tuesday morning.
Hope everyone else is doing well.

Whoo hoo Auntie! Congratulations!!!! I'm so happy for you and what a great number! I can just imagine it's hard to rest easy and enjoy yet, but yaye you're looking good so far! My appt with surgeon from the lap is on Tuesday morning, then am guessing it's just a waiting game till we transfer. Does the doc remove the stitches at this post op follow up? And do you think if I didn't have anything removed and not such a full on surgery, I'd be able to do transfer next cycle or does they not really matter, I'll still have to wait one full cycle?

Wooohooo Auntie Congratulations!!! Such good news. Yay, Yay. All the very best hun.
Storm glad you're recovery has gone well.
Thanks as always for all the love and support. DH is all good, no spells this weekend. Trying to encourage him to keep stress levels down as this is impacting hugely on how he's feeling. I suspect his palpitations are anxiety related but I'm not a doctor lol. Auntie interesting re the thyroid test thing I must chase up what those results were to see if there's been a change or it's just not been looked into further. I do remember him being told that their was some test that was low and showed that he wasn't producing any sperm. Thankfully the power came on pretty quickly yesterday morning and we're fortunate to have a lovely big fire keeping us warm. Snowed again last night but no where near as much as what they'd predicted. Although in the high country near us I think it might be a bit different.
Have had a lazy day today - catching up on my tv programmes from during the week lol.
Much love to you all xxx

Thanks for your kind words everyone. Repeat blood test on Thursday and then see what happens after that. By my calculations I am due Easter Sunday, my son was due on New Years Day so I'm hoping that public holidays are my lucky charm :)
Glad that DH is doing OK and keeping his stress levels down, BC. Do you have any more info on the specialist appointment?
Good luck for your appointment tomorrow Storm.

Good luck for Thursday's test AA.
The ED doctor said it would be 6-8wks before we get any kind of appointment. She said that if she felt it was hugely serious he would've been admitted so it's kind of a comfort (? - if that makes sense) that he just has to wait. I think he's been pretty ok. I've been reminding him not to stress which he seems to be following lol.

Congrats Auntie!
I'm so pissed off and upset! Just had my scan with FA before my consent appointment and the useless hospital hadn't sent through my notes from surgery. So there may be another Polyp in my uterus and if the surgery found fluid in my tubes I'll need to get that sorted before I continue with IVF. I don't remember them saying anything about fluid at the time! I cried all the way back to work! Just feels like set back after set back :(

Oh hugs Faith! It can really feel like that a bit in this TTC game! That's bad they haven't sent through paperwork before your appointment! So what now? Do you have to go back once they have your paperwork? And maybe another surgery?? Hugs hun. LOL BC good on DH for following orders! And I'm sure the time will fly by before you get to the appointment! When are you due AF for your IVF? Appt with doc was quick! LOL He showed me pics he took from the surgery (how crazy is that!!!) and said everything was as it should be! No endo nothing. Blah! So he has no answers either LOL Said I have an appendix in an unusual spot so to make sure the top dogs are taking care of me if I ever need anything done with that! So I'm kinda at peace a bit more that there is just no answer for why our pregnancies don't stick! At the moment I am done with investigations as i feel I have pretty much done it all except have the embryos tested, but the docs don't see why that would be necessary. So back to just hoping and praying it is! Best thing of all he said we can get back to our transfers next cycle! Whoop! As it was only diagnostic we no longer have to wait a full cycle. Yaye! So AF is due in a week - and it better not be late!!! He mentioned that sometimes with flushing out with dye etc some get pregnant, who know why. And he said he also did an endo scratch while he was in there

Thanks Storm! I'm not sure she said she was going to talk to another doctor tomorrow about my scan photos and chase up my notes so I think I might call the hospital myself to chase it and then call FA on Thursday to try talk to my doctor there to find out what heck is going on! Gotta get blood test re done for my thyroid too as the one I got done on Friday was showing as low.
All the best for your upcoming cycle storm! Hope AF behaves and arrives on time :)

Hugs Faith that absolutely sucks! I hope it doesn't cause too much of setback.
Exciting times BC and Storm fx
Afm still haven't rung bout my results I will hopefully get up the nerve to do that this afternoon. I'm not worried bout results I just get really on edge about health stuff and if people are rude or unhelpful it can send me over the edge sometimes.

Yaye BC - I think we will be pretty close with our cycles Rach I feel the same sometimes about having to call the nurses, just don't always feel like they are as thoughtful to our situations as they should be. Good luck - let us know how you get on with the results. I actually need to call FA myself, and ask them to make sure my doctor (Lap doc was different) is happy for me to go into FET next cycle.

Congrats Aunty Awesome - that's great news. It really is so positive to see this, it makes me keep wanting to push ahead!
I have read through 4 pages of news, a lot is happening! BC sorry to hear about your DH, hopefully it isn't too serious.
I am now booked in for public funded IVF for mid September, with EC end of September, was so happy when the nurse told me, and I said to her best of all - it's finally free!!!

Rosey that's great news! There will be a few of us now going through transfers etc in the next couple of months. Can I ask when you went on the waiting list for public funding? I only ask because DH and I have been trying for #2 for 5 years now, unexplained - which both meant we had to wait 5 years to apply? Spoke to the nurse at FA before, man I wish they would read through at least some of our history before calling - had to tell her what I've been doing, will be doing etc. But oh well, good to go once AF arrives!
