Thanks Star. I just had my results and they’re inconclusive - technically positive but too low to really be sure. HCG is at 17 when they like to see it over 50. So another test on Friday to see if it’s improved and it’s just been late implantation (fingers crossed), or whether the embryo isn’t developing. It’s hard to know whether to be optimistic or not. On one hand, with DD my early HCG levels were at the low end of normal and my period isn’t actually due until Saturday. But on the other hand, as we all know (unfortunately) chemical pregnancies are relatively common. It’s going to be a tough 48 hours!

Star - when will you qualify for more funding? Shouldn’t your endo make you a higher priority?

Hey guys,
Result from today was inconclusive, I guess it’s kind of like yours roubaix.
Hcg was only 34, so technically pregnant but not quite where it should be, so having to wait till Wednesday for another blood test, so guttered but trying to have a glimmer of hope it continues to double.
Much love to everyone

Hey guys - just popping back on quickly to see how you are all doing :)
That's fantastic news Kiwigirl! So happy you got your bubs at long last. :)
Also congrats JBB!
Commiserations for everyone still trying - it's a long road I know.
My family is doing well, for those that remember me - though bubs still is waking 3+ times a night at 11 mths so still very tired. Still feel very blessed though.

hope its ok I post this again as I'm here hunting for car seat reviews and saw this and another post because I sorted by most recent so this is my 2nd post in as many minutes... I work with a leading Natural Fertility Specialist, Gabriela Rosa. She runs a free Fertility Challenge designed to help couples who have been trying to conceive for 2 years or more or who suffer multiple micarriages. I manage content for her website which includes over 700 FAQ + posts +testimonials on optimising our fertility... I 100% believe in her calling and while I may be bias - the success stories speak for themselves. The #FertilityChallenge is a free, no obligation opportunity to learn and begin to apply her proven methodology and gain access to the private FB group which has about 12000k members and where we do the FB live FAQ sesions. Website covers the who what where & how. I hope this info can make a difference for someone naturalfertilitybreakthrough.com

Hi all! Hope you're keeping warm. My last iui I had my usual pregnancy symptoms for 36 hours at 3 weeks but the disappeared and gave me an official BFN. I was hit hard with emotions of past failures so took a month out. This month we tried again, I'm currently 5DPO and awake with strong cramping. Hard not to read into it when I don't normally have cramping at this point like this even though any embies would only be coming into blast stage and not implanted yet! We have decided not to do ivf again only iui as we don't want to risk having a few great embies that we won't be able to financially afford as children. And because they are donor sperm we wouldn't be able to donate them. I'd hate to have to discard what could be future babies. Hope you're all well!

Fairylight, sorry to hear things aren't moving the way you want. Can I ask about the donor sperm and not been able to donate them. Why is this? Just been curious that's all

Hey all, checking in. Congrats JMM! Hope it's all still going well and I'm sorry for your CP Roubaix. Hope the iui goes well Fairylight.
We are all well apart from another cold. Thinking about when we might attempt to try our remaining embryos.

Sweetpea - (just realised that what my nickname name is for my DD!) It's the law that you can't donate any donated eggs/sperm nor embryos made with donated eggs/sperm or donated embries. I hope it will one day change though.

Good luck with your IUI Sweetpea! When do you test? I'm doing another FET this month. First blood tests tomorrow, so transfer will probably be sometime next week. In good news, this month we finally qualify for public funding. But as the waiting list is still soooo long, we'll end up paying for another round of IVF ourselves if this FET doesn't work (it's our last embie). We've already been and talked to our doc about next steps (I'm not being super pessimistic, it's just that now that we're back trying again, I really can't stand any delays in treatment!). Has anyone done PGS? My doctor was strongly suggesting that we should. They now do it on-site instead of having to send embryos overseas. Any idea of costs?
