TTC #2 since July 2014. Have had 3 ectopics May 15, Oct 15 and Aug 16. IVF is the only option now as no tubes left

Karenka I am so sorry! I can understand both the chooks (we had a wild dog kill 6 of ours last year) and the pregnancy. It's not an easy journey.
I am 8 weeks today but even after a great scan a week ago I am feeling really nervous again. Starting to panic that things have suddenly changed. I had a scan once before at 7 weeks which was ok growth wise but slow hb (I think 101) and then it turns out it stopped growing that day! But I didn't know for another 2.5 weeks when I had a repeat scan. So I'm super paranoid that that's going to happen again. Even though this time the heart beat was great!!!! (136). I wasn't planning on any more scans until 12 weeks but if I'm still this nervous next week I think I will ask the doctor for one around 9-10 weeks to keep me sane!

Oh and Kumeroa - those hcgs are great! have you had slow rising hcgs with your ectopics?
I wouldn't stress too much about the early scan. I don't think they expect to see anything until the hcg is >1500 on a transvaginal scan anyway!!!! So this next scan should be much more informative!

Because your worried anyway nzveggie you will find anything that doesn't sound right I know because I am the same! My scan was also a week ago and I've been to Hospital already to go on monitor! Hang in there honey and if you can get an extra scan then go for it it's not worth worrying when you don't have to xxx

Hey! Yeh im doing good, 14-15 weeks now (dates are out) and trudging along  I get some bouts of 'oh is everything ok in there' but on the whole im sweet, its just such a long wait between scans & mw apps, wish they were every 2 weeks haha. Wow so jealous, 35 sleeps to go, that's so awesome well done you! Can't wait to check in and read the amazing news! ! Xxx

Hi Mami glad things are going well
I'm sh*tting myself about scan tomorrow I can just see that there won't be anything there and am so prepared for worst case scenario but will be so gutted if that's the case dont know how I will handle a 3rd ectopic if that's the case.

Hi ladies sorry just back from hospital not looking good but no answers. Hcg gone up to 3024 and nothing seen on scan either way so more bloods on Saturday and another scan next week yet to be booked will be at hospital then another appointment at hospital afterwards. They think it's a possible miscarriage today even tho I'm not bleeding and even offered me a DnC today but I declined and said I will see where it goes. So far this is history. 19 DPO hcg=110, 23 DPO hcg =500, 26 DPO hcg= 1600, 29 DPO hcg = 3024. Nothing seen on scans yet. Who knows I'm even more confused now

Wow honey I'm confused too! Hcgs aren't too bad - they could be better but still OK! But why would they not see anything on the scan? Were you 8 weeks today? For nothing at all to be there seems odd - did they do an internal?

Hang in there Kumeroa. My bet is it's just too early. And why on earth would they offer you a D and C when they don't think there's anything really to D and C?!
