Hi my kids are charlotte 3 1/5 and hunter 16 months. ive always struggled to find good play groups around ranui henderson area!
my daughter is at kindy in the afternoons so we havent been doing too much in the mornings so she wouldnt get to tired but then her little brother has been missing out playing with other kids etc.....
so can anyone suggest any play groups or different activities ??? thanks

Have you tried the playcentres? We have been going to Swanson Playcentre for about a year now and love it. There is a parent involvement/contribution required but I haven't found it a burden and Swanson seems to be more laidback than that other PCs. There is also a PC at Ranui and Henderson Valley but I am not sure what they are like

There is a playgroup at Summerland Community Centre, it runs during term time.
Mummy to Issy (3) and Elias (18 months)

Oh cool. Has anyone been to the Te atatu one? Is it any good?
I have just moved to west auckland so was going to ask the same thing about playgroups.

ive got music on fridays. and if you looking for a great one mine is on hobsonville road at the baptist church and the lady who takes it is WONDERFUL totally full of energy and interacts with the kids well. two session times 930 and 1030 with morning tea in the middle well worth the three dollars.
also im going to try the summerland drive one tomorrow :)

Bumping!!! :) ill second the music and movement at the baptist church on hobsonville rd too, plan on going there when we move ive heared from loads of people its fab! any other ideas for playgroups would be awesome tho, im tossing up whether to do playcentre or just stick to the playgroups...
