yep is is about bloody time! Makes me wonder how long it would take if i just sat around and waited, like some people do, thinking the hospital is busy and they will get to you. Man new zealand public health system sucks. okay enough of the rant rant
Hee hee Liz if you can tell me how to tame her hair i will give you a gold star. Its just freaky. We call her our little troll because she looks like a troll doll and her hair just sticks on end.

the light at the end of the tunnel may be just round the corner ... hang in there.
and re her hair, i have heard that if it gets knotty at night give them satin to sleep on,the hair just slides around and wont get all knotted together.

LOL I have a dread-y baby too. Maya is a mass of spiral ringlets but sometimes she is just a mass of mess.
Great to hear Jayde has been booked for her gastroscopy, hopefully you will get some real answers soon.
Text me if you need anything while you are down here, even just a visit if it will help.

he he he, Paris looks like a werewolf in the mornings.. you've seen the pics of her curls - if she's had a hard night they're more like a huge matted bird's nest by morning. Hey, have you tried wetting it so that you can put it up - we pretty much drench Paris every morning just to brush it. could never leave it down - she can't see past the curls - i don't wanna cut it.
great to hear that you have finally got an appointment - hopefully things can be sorted out to make you and Jayde's life easier. yep, nz health system is slack.. am almost ashamed i'm going to work for it soon.

Speaking of bad hair....we have brought j&j detangler. You just spray it in on wet or dry hair and it helps get the tangles out. Only way to do Angies hair

I have a spray bottle with water and a little conditioner and it seems to help a lot with Sophie's hair

Hi everyone, We are back from starship. The staff were fantastic with Jayde. Unfortunately the gastroscopy showed only a slight imflimation, nothing that should get the symptoms Jayde is experiencing. But in saying that the biopsys that the surgen took may show something. If it shows nothing he is going to recommend another barium swallow. It was a very scary and tiring time, but she is such a brave wee mite. Anyway just thought id give you all the update.

Pleased to hear the Jayde came thru the gastroscopy well. I hope the biopsies can give you some answers!
I use this Paul Mitchell conditioning spray on Maya's hair. It's a kids one, but quite expensive ($18) but lasts ages. I used to us the j&j one but found it dried out Maya's hair too much and made it frizzy. I wash her hair with my PPS shampoo and conditioner too so it's really soft and shiny, coz with her head of curls, they just turn into a fuzzmop if I don't tame them.
