8 weeks pregnancy , fetal pole but no heart beat

Hi,
I am writing this post while I am super frustrated. I had my first scan 2 weeks ago, they could not find fetal pole. I had repeated scan today , they found fetal pole but not heart beat .
My gestational sac is only 26mm which means I am at 6 weeks only. The last scan is 2 weeks ago I had my sac is 13mm. I was asking sonographer if any chance that I calculate wrong pregnancy age as I thought I am 8 weeks( my first day of last period is 16th Jan), he keep saying no , it means my pregnancy stop growing.
I read the report from doctor saying that he need another scan 7 days later but the sonographer makes me feel I am sure that I had miscarriage. Anyone had same issue but end up with healthy baby? I am looking for small hope, I am completely exhausted ...
