Hey there!

Just looking ahead at first birthdays (not too too far off now!) and we'd like to get her her first doll. She hasnt had many toys bought for her as she has all her big brothers ones, so a doll would be special just for her.

Just wondering what you would all recommend ! :)

I highly recommend the goldberger range available at KMart. A lot of their entry-level dolls you can get for just $20, they are soft and look cute (let's face it, we've all seen ugly dolls in our time!!) and my girls have really attached to them. A couple of the dolls we got about 5yrs ago finally started to lose the plot a few months back so we called on the lifetime guarantee and got them swapped for new ones! There is a number on the tag/label that comes with the doll that you will need to quote to do that, so write it down somewhere special coz the printing fades after a while.

My girls have really enjoyed Bundle of Joy and Baby's First.

Awww that bundle of joy doll looks really cute! I might have to add that one to our collection

My daughter got the Little Mommy Newborn doll for christmas, looks very similar to the goldberger doll actually. My mum got it from farmers but I've seen them at the warehouse as well. My girl has this one and she LOVES her - cuddles, kisses, licks (she smells vanilla-ry so I guess she thinks she'll taste nice too hehe), even sleeps with her most of the time.

lifetime guarentee is mad!
I like that they are soft, want something she;'s keen to cuddle :)

I'm amazed at the cost, i remember looking a while back and so many seemed so much pricier - who knows where i was looking though *grin*

Thanks guys!
