Topic: Aching breasts     Posted: 12 February 2009 at 1:21pm |

This is probably a silly question but I am not sure why my breasts are aching, I don't remember having this problem when pg with Jack.

At night when I take off my bra my breasts are achy and quite heavy feeling, it lasts about 30sec and is then fine. I have never had probs before, never had to wear a bra or such at night even when pg with Jack or bfing. I don't think they have grown any as my bras still seem to fit fine.

What could it be? I am hoping no one says that I need to change to pg bras as I was hoping to wait till 30wks or so and then get some new bf bras. Thoughts?

Sorry chick, but I am going to say you might need to change to mat bras.

Mine would ache sooooo badly, as soon as I switched to the mat bras it was instance relief!!!!! I wear a support singlet to bed and that has helped a treat too.

OK maybe I will try my old maternity bras and see if that helps. I am loath to buy new bf bras yet, but i suppose I might have to although I wanted to get the realy nice feminine (and expensive ) ones. Maybe I will get some plain old pg ones for now.
 Thanks ladies

Hey Linzy, I had the same problem. Hate maternity bras with a passion, all I had to do was go up a cup size in a regular bra. I got a few Bendon bras at Bendon outlet for $10 each - worked a treat, and cheaper that maternity bras too. Checked with my OB re underwires etc, he basically said just wear whatever you are comfrotable in.

Found one of my bf bras that is the same size as I was wearing. Wore it today and no aching so it must have been the underwire. They are not that pretty but hopefully they will do me for another few months before I buy some new bf bras, want to wait as long as possible incase I change size
