Topic: anywhere to get internet cheapies from? Posted: 04 August 2009 at 9:13am |
I post on an American parenting forum, and they seem to have eassssy access to purchase pregnancy tests online - really cheap, generally they aren't name brand.. does anyone know if ANYONE in NZ sells cheap tests, OR of an international site that will send to NZ?? I hate having to spend $10+ for a stupid pregnancy test! (I know they have cheaper ones at supermarkets, but in general..)..
thanks :)

you can get them off the Oz ebay ... I got 40 from oracle fertility off there and including postage was $28... they arrived in less than a week too so pretty good I reckon.... there's another company that sells them even cheaper on there (impregnancy) but they say they don't ship outta Oz so you have to send them a request to post to NZ before you can buy from them...

I don't have a credit card - are you able to transfer money into an aussie bank account??? I might go look at EBay now!

I think so... we don't have a credit card either... we got one of those debit cards though and they're soooo handy for buying off the net and not getting into debt

cool thanks for that, will have to check it out - definately prefer getting multiple tests for $20.00 than one or two!

If you have a community services card Family Planning only charge $5 for preg test, or if you are under 25 it is free.

Hiya, I also get them from Ebay from Oracle Fertility and usually before I click buynow I request to send it cheaper to NZ.... (because their postage is standardised for worldwide postal) and they usually give me a cheaper rate of $7 instead of $12.
Also, I use the debit visa card.. ASB, Westpac or Kiwibank have them and you can apply for them online

I got 50 Opk's and 50 HPT's from the oracle fertility website, they used to sell through Trademe but have stopped to set up a nz part of Oracle.
Hopefully they will be up and running soon coz it would be great to be able to buy cheep in nz.
Tranfering to oracle fertility bank costs you $20 extra in bank charges.
Paymate is what they use with a credit card or debit card.

i always used saveontestscom, they are US based but I never had to wait long and from memory the stuff was actually shipped out of canada.
It works out much cheaper than $5 per test though... I honestly cant remember how much it cost me..
The visadebit cards are great, can be used anywhere that acepts visa but comes directly out of your account. They do have an annual fee I think.
