Yep agreed Keoedy re suffocation risk with hanky - I suppose I meant tucked in down the side and the one I was thinking about is only a small square of muslin and while baby still not moving that much in bed. Hopefully not too long for you now to go....

I am having issues with feeding too - the horrendous pain that I had with DS is back and it is so excrutiating at times. I have contacted the lactation consultant and may go to a class on Thursday too - am thinking it might be the same one you are going to! Is is in Stokes Valley?

Ok someone I cant remember who it was now, suggested to maybe try the 3mth old dummy. Well I happened to have some my friend gave me some new ones at the baby shower.
IT WORKED!!!!! he loves it.... so I went over to the baby factory to get the same brand but in the newborn but they only have pink ones and rabbits... not very boy! but from talking to the ladies there and also checking out babycity they dont seem to think it would matter. I even compared the teet to other branded newborn teets and they are the same size so will go with it. He can hold it himself and everything. Lets hope it works for settling him to sleep when hes not wanting too go. It worked for getting him in the capsule. he started crying at first and then put that in and he stoped :)

Hes finally here :-)

Glad you've found something that works for you and Caden, Jade!
I've been unable to do *anything* today. Such bad lower back pain DH has been rubbing it and making me hot water bottles. Sooo ouchy. I am swinging between wanting baby out so I can have my body back and too scared!!!
I don't like sharing my bladder either Whoi was it who peed them selves in front of boss?? I laughed!! OOps. Have also come to love Poise! My bladder is useless!!!

Yep, that was me the pee queen. Poise pads rock!! No more leakage - oh other than the normal when I am laughing, sneezing, coughing.....you get the drift!
OMG the April babies are all so delicious!!
Charlie thought of you on Friday too!! Hope you are loving the new kitchen and having your folks over.
Had a great night last night. Me and 4 girlfriends went "away" for a night without our sprogs and Dhs. When I say "away", it was just to a township less than 10 minutes away from my house . It was so therepeutic having good quality girly time, a bed to myself (well sort of, bubs was still there LOL), showering in a different shower, sitting in the spa at 11pm. Bliss.
Was a great way to celebrate finishing work. I keep forgetting I DON'T NEED TO GET OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING!!
DH has a new golf membership and begged to be able to go out tomorrow for a game. I felt a bit stink about it seeing as it was my 1st day off (he works afternoons/nights so we could have spent the day together) but when he offered to get DD up, dressed, fed and off to pre-school THEN go to golf, I really could see the benefits He knows my weaknesses and letting me sleep in is a good bribe (often works to get him nookie too LOL).
Jade, hurray for the dummy working. I remember DD looooved comfort sucking. We would drive long distance and she would be crying in her carseat so I would practically dislocate my arm to stick my pinky in her mouth from the front seat. She would settle easily with the pinky trick and heaps of her early photos she has someones pinky in her gob . I was never going to give my babies dummies but OMG when we finally did we were sooooooo relieved!!!! I think I would have had less trouble BFing if I had used a dummy earlier as she would not have mangled my boobs comfort sucking. This time I am taking one to the hospital - REBEL!!!!

Terrible nights sleep here, think I got myself all worked up about tomorrows pending arrival... Also my hips and BH's have been really sore so that didnt help.
Hope all is well with everyone else, not sure I will have time to update again before tomorrow. Got to be at the hospital at 0630, early start!
Have a good week

Ahhhh, welcome to maternity leave LChop :-)))))))))) Sounds like a fab overnighter. Good on DH for giving you a stressfree sleep in, I have just had one too but kinda doesn't count as much when you get up at the normal time, it's just that DH got up to DD as she is not observing daylight saving hours.
Goodluck Daisy Boo!!!!!!!!!

All the best for today DaisyBoo!
Not much of an update for me, it's gone a bit quiet on here, I guess a lot of our mummies are now busy being mummies!
It's such a strange feeling just sitting around waiting to go into labour... almost like the mighty two week wait when TTC.
Leahsmummy, loved your pics of wee Cody, I showed DH hope you don't mind and he got teary!
Hope everyone is feeling well today.

Had blood in my mucus this morn and had two big contractions last night but then nothing argh. Well I am already over due or due depending on what date you go by my docs keep bouncing between the 1st, 4th and 6th lol. But could have told you right back on day one I would be overdue have been with all 3 of mine, I call it pregnancy overtime so far I have done 3wks overtime with my first, and 1 week with each of my other two so a total of 5 weeks overtime.
Wonder how Daisyboo is getting on

Hehehe, I just watched a very funny episode of "Real Housewives of Orange County" (my secret shame ), and one of the ladies was talking about her "push present". I had never heard of this "push present" phenomenon, apparently it's a gift that the father gives to the mother after the baby has come out!
I LIKE it!!!
Although will not hold out much hope. The lady from the show's push present? A Bentley. Of COURSE. Heh

Morning (just )
Good luck DaisyBoo - will be thinking of ya!!
MerlinFluff - hope the lower back pain eases up for you - can definitely guarantee it will pretty much disappear once baby is born
LC - sounds like a great way to celebrate the start of your maternity leave!!
I had plans for hairdresser, manicure/pedicure, leg wax etc during my 2 weeks off work before Logan was due to arrive but best laid plans and all that..... still haven't managed to get to the hairdresser although was so satisfying being able to shave my own legs again - hehe
Kirsty - I share you secret shame - just started watching Real Houswives the other day - am totally hooked!!
Keoedy - hope thing get moving for you soon :)
AFM - Logan slept well last night - still on 3hrly feeds but he surprised me with 4 hrs gap since his 6:30am feed so we both managed to get some more sleep - yay!! I've had him on a formula feed for his last evening feed (around 9pmish) as he seems to sleep better - not sure if something I'm eating for dinner is messing with my milk but he seems more settled at the moment - might have to try removing some things from dinner to see if it makes a difference. Doesn't seems to have a prob during the day and is feeding well off the boob otherwise - oh well, trial and error I guess
Have our first antenatal coffee group tomorrow - really looking forward to it - will get to catch up with you again Lulu!!!
Right - I'm going to get through the shower and organise some lunch now.
Hope you all have a great day

Naw Logan is so cute, wow three weeks already can't believe it.
I have my appointment for my hernia tomorrow finally, so will see what comes from that. Mum rung me today and she is sick with a throwing up bug . . . . argh she is our babysitter for when I go into labour and we don't have a back up as Aneira won't go with hardly anyone and all my mates have their own kids to look after so this bub got hold in til she better.

Had apt this morning nothing much to report they did another EKG just in case and want to see me again Monday even tho I have the Caesar on Friday, kinda hoped I wouldn't have to go in again!

No news on the new bubba?
My push present couldn't be an eternity ring as my fingers are too short - can't fit anything else on baa haa.
I got a silver circle that I wear on a chain with MOLLY on one side and her DOB on the other. I will get one with the new babies name etc too to wear on the same chain.
Every time I drive down your road Charlie I wonder if you are in labour .
Hope your mum gets better soon Keoedy.
