My boy has been Active as, last night im sure he was trying to push though my skin!!!!! thats what it felt like anyways hahaha, must be growing.
Hubby and I decided on the spelling of his name last night so thats good, and we picked our the middle names... (2 middle names as one is going to be my hubbys dads name who passed away 7 years ago).... and the other one is a Maori name.

40 working days left !!!!! So excited !!!!! Sadly this also means only 4 pay days left as well :( But then I'm off work for hopefully 4 weeks before this baby arrvies.
Love your bump Kirsty, gosh you're tanned and no stretch marks, lucky thing!
Went for my 28 week bloods yesterday, I also did a urine test and diabetes test. I was just rung by Lab Tests, they want me to go back and give another urine sample. The lady didn't know why, FX nothings wrong.
Congratulations on the house offer Leahsmummy. So exciting moving house!
Have a great weekend everyone xxx

Oh what a few hours I have had. I am on strict rest for the weekend. Stupidly I was holding DD and went to bend down to pick up my sunnies and felt my stomach muscles groan and pull... I then spent the next hour in the car outside new world waiting for DH to come and help me get DD into the car seat as I couldnt lift her up. In the end my DH called the store manager who came out and helped get DD into the car seat... he was really kind and obviously could see I was a bit teary eyed...
Now I am home and have had a bath and am lying on the sofa in my pjs feeling very sorry for myself.
The baby is moving around heaps so that is good I hope. I spoke to my midwife who said to see how it goes... Luckily the pain seems to have settled but what a horrible shock.
I MUST take it more slowly and remember that I am pregnant... Poor DH gave him a real shock.
Really could do with some chocolate
GS what names have you chosen?

Oh Daisy I hope you feel better soon!
Well my hubby wants to spell his first name with a K but I think I will try and talk him around to a C (after all got the middle names haha). His dads name was Alfred but everyone called him Fred, so thats the 2nd middle name... but he was Fred and I prefer Alfred if we HAVE to have it.
So his full name is Kaden (Caden) Mahia Fred (Alfred) Wilcox - the brackets are what I want lol.....
not telling anyone so u guys are special!
Man he is moving around like crazy... not really moving it feels like hes trying to punch through my skin hahahaha its his lil feet pushing up against me.... takes a bit of getting used too hahahaaa...

GS: Love the name, probably like your chocie of spelling most hehe.
Daisy: Hope your taking it easy. I know what you mean about remembering to slow down. Went for a walk and an hour later when we got home i was like im so tired, oh thats right im 28weeks pregnant lol.
We had a very eventful evening. Xander fell down the front stairs and landed in the garden. After an hour of him not wanting to move his arm at all DP got home and we took him to a n e. He had to have an xray and looks like he fractured his wrist. So he is in a cast for the next 10 days. I feel like the worlds worst mother right now, he looks so little walking around with a giant cast on. This was such a small fall, like the equivelent (sp) to 2 stairs and he has had such bigger and harder falls/knocks as boys do but unfortnately his whole body landed on the one side. Now i just want to wrap him in cotton wool and lock him up. He has gone down those stairs a hundred times a day.
Sorry for the long post, just feeling really down about xander's accident.

Oh poor Xander..!! I fear the day a bone breaks - hope he makes a speedy recovery hun..
We're trying to get the kids used to having a shower instead of a bath.. Tonight Ryder was walking in and out of the shower, slipped and fell straight onto the shower surround onto his NECK..!! I felt sick watching it happen and couldn't stop it in time.. I HATE ACCIDENTS..!!
Oh Daisyboo.. You poor thing..!! Yes, we have to be so careful - its a reminder to keep things simple - I too am always rushing around and forget I'm preggers too.. So bad aren't we... Hope you rest well over the weekend..!! xx
I love Caden Mahia Alfred Wilcox.. If you say them both out loud, that one sounds better.. And you may find you/your son always saying Caden with a K if spelt the other way.. IYKWIM..??
Strange Nicci that you have to give another wee sample.. I've had that happen with blood - they didn't take enough viles so FX its nothing..?? Let us know..
Anyone used or know anyone who has used the Baby First Cloth nappies that you can get from Baby City..??

Lovely name Greenstone! I agree, Alfred rolls along better into Wilcox. I seem to run Fred and Wilcox together when I say it out loud IYKWIM.
Poor Xander, poor mummy more though. Same for Ryder. That mummy guilt is the worst!
My SIL uses the baby first MCN's. They don't fit her babe well, especially around the legs but she can't afford to replace them.
Oh, why, oh why is sleep alluding me?!?!? Between aches and reflux and my brain not turning off I am becoming an insomniac!
Cute bump pics. Must take some, have been pretty lazy with it this time round.

oh no Nikki! Poor Xander and you! I understand about wanting to wrap them up in cotton wool after something like that, hope he heals nice and quickly.
GS, I like you version of the name too, like CP said when you say it out loud it flows better and I'm all about the flow, lol.
Ouch Daisy!! I hope you are feeling much better this morning, that doesn't sound nice at all. It's a timely reminder, I must remember to watch out then cos I always do that and I've started to get a really sore back, whoops.
CP, my MIL has some Baby First naps for when DD is at her place. They do ok, but like Charlie said the fit is a bit off and are either too loose or leave red marks on her skin. I don't think they'd last the distance using them full time either as some of them have already started to fall apart and DD hasn't stayed at her place that much in a year!
naw Charlie, have you tried that sleep rescue remedy yet? Or healteries bedtime tea? I find they help to relax and switch off before bed.

Thank you all for your kind words, I feel like a right wolly! Now on sofa watching masterchief... DH has taken DD swimming so will make the most of a quiet house.
Nikki poor Xander, so easily done and not at all your fault. It is just what happens unfortunately.
I agree that Sleep rescue remedy is brilliant stuff. I must get some more as have nearly run out...
Love the names GS... wish we could decide on girls names, boys name all sorted.
Right off for a bath before they come back and DD wants to jump in to!
Any news from Poohbear???
Have a good weekend.

Hey guys
I've pm'd everyone back with their text buddies, plus a general phone list. I hope that's okay with everyone and if I've mucked up or missed anyone, please let me know. Major preggy brain here most days
I can add the buddy list to the due date list if that's okay with everyone? I won't add phone numbers as they've been pm'd to everyone wanting to be included.
Greenstone, I'm with the concensus on here and like your spelling of Caden's name, and the middle name too!
Daisy, hugs to Xander, his little wrist and to you! Mummy guilt is the worst. Rhys hasn't broken any bones, but has chipped a tooth, just a little, but it was awful
I hope Poohbear is okay too. Is she due home today?
Has anyone else had cramps, kinda like period pains? I had to have the wheatbag on my bump last night as I was so uncomfortable, . I ended up having 2 days off work this week as I just felt knackered! Back to work yesterday and last night I felt like I'd been hit by a bus! I don't remember being this uncomfortable this early on with DS. I'm going to try to have a quiet weekend and see if that helps.
Well I'd better go, DS is up from his nap and DH is out mowing the lawn, so I'd better find out what DS is up to.
Take care

Thanks for the list Deb, it looks good!
Ouch bout the tooth thing too for Rhys! I was worried DD had done that the other day, she tripped and caught her top lip on the edge of a concrete seat, grazed her top lip and cut the inside of her mouth, worst thing is I can't get a good a look in there...
I've had period pain like cramps too, midwife said mine sounded a bit random and she didn't think it is anything to worry about. She said it could be ligaments stretching, or a uti so I've had a urine test done to just make sure it's not that. It may pay to check it out with your midwife just to make sure.

I havent had period cramps but have been having like an achey stretchy type pain, hes gotten heaps more active so I think hes growing and my skin is stretching, def noticing my tummy more anyways.
Just dropped hubby off at his mates for drinks... im sober driver, hes not a drinker so this will be interesting hahaha.
well we have decided to make the big move over to aussie this year, prob looking at August! scary, hubbys been offered a job on a 5 year contract and the moneys just way to goood to say no too, and we kinda have to think about baby now.... aussie has always been on the cards, but seems like a defnitie now. It will be in Adelaide. never been there. My uncle lives there though.
scarey and exciting.. i know I prob will be nervous as at first but yeah...... and my mum will hate that we are taking her grandson away, but she knows its in the cards and its not like I wont be back and forth.... so watch this space on that one..... for now though its just concentrating on baby arriving....
Thanks for the text buddy list, Kyro ive got u in my cellphone now
